Can't you like, dig tunnels under all their arguments so that they have no ground to stand upon? Or build stools to help them off their high horses, or construct an army of strawmen? At least dig some channels so that we can ditch them?

Oh, definitely. I was suspicious of her starting from the 2nd or 3rd world, once she began insisting that the group only focus on awakening the crystals, and that was before someone pointed out the meaning hidden in Where the Fairie Flies.
