I think you'll have a harder time finding someone who isn't a KOTOR fan. Anyone who doesn't like it is a heretic.

I've been on a real Pokémon craze for the past couple years, and I just can't get enough of it. Plus, last night I made my perfect team, and I really want to do something with it. Unfortunately, due to the mix of generations, I can't make it in any game. It has a Gen VII mon, and Alola is missing half the team. D:

KOTOR even holds up pretty good in terms of gameplay, which is pretty crazy for a game that's old enough to legally drive at this point

I can understand that. I still have my own personal table top Pokemon game designs on this computer. I don't think I got far into the plans- like the Pokedex was an amalgamation of the various Pokedex's featured in the game and show.

... Oddly I got those quotes (Pokedex entries) from a wiki as I've not played a single Pokemon game; but as far as anime goes I like the show.

I was a 'Casual Guy' with only a Caterpie (Cater) and an Ekans (Ike).

In my own words Ron (my character) "does[n]'t make a living as a trainer, but is interested in the occasional battle. Especially of the friendly sort- as he's not much of a gambler (he does occasionally do so) nor is he associated with any gym."

Also the players were usually spread out across the region, making it difficult for people to interact with each other.

I tend to like Mystery Dungeon style RPs better, myself. Keeps everyone together (for the most part), and it's a bit easier to justify being lax on combat rules.

Yeah, that's been my experience, too. Everyone just tries to write their own story and ignores the other players. :/

One I participated in just before P2TM was born avoided that decently by having a gang for everyone to fight, so that helped bring characters together.

And even then, half of them seemed phoned in and half of those seemed like hollow parodies of mons from previous gens. And from what I've heard of later gens, it seems to be getting even more blatantly gimmicky.

You should stop hanging around with Genwunners. Most of my favorite mons are from Gens V-VII.

Its less that I hang around them, and more that I'm one of them (actually, I liked Gens 1-3, and even 4 wasn't all that bad, but it was clearly the start of the downward trend).
