I wear teal, blue & pink for Swith
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

The chat is governed by a Mod. I'm not sure they'd be too willing to update polls. We might see what bribery brings.
Yes, we're coming up on the end of the year. Yes, we know the annual P2TM Awards are on people's minds. Don't panic. Things should gear up towards the end of next week. Yes, we'll have the popularity contest portion, and yes we will have the judges panels for the writing awards.

The gruff old veteran in old grand adventure novels. Nothing beats the man with the glorious beard and Victoria Cross who can fight off savages with a saber AND ponder Literature and science in a dusty old tavern or gentleman's club.

Gruff old veteran dude sounds Victorian.

P2TM has been dying of sort recently, I think? I mean, we lost some and we gained some with the return of old players too, but mostly we lost some.

Objectively, P2TM is posting at a rate that has only accelerated since it was first created.
We just have a hard time luring those posters into the Restaurant and community threads these days. Which, if you think about it, kinda makes sense. Back when P2TM was first started, nobody had RP groups, P2TM regions, or any cliques to go hang out in. If you wanted to shoot the shit, bounce ideas, kick back with your mates, you had to come to certain hubs, because there were no other hubs in existence. It is only natural, though in some ways a bit sad, that as the community has matured it has differentiated and the old "primary" hub doesn't receive as much traffic as it once did.
I wouldn't worry about P2TM dying until NationStates itself starts dying, and I can't honestly see that happening any time in the near future, unless for some reason browser-based communication as a whole starts being passe.

The redeemer often found in the action genre. An individual who starts off as the antagonist but, usually after a heated battle, changes their ways and joins the protagonist in their cause. I enjoy the personality that a lot of these individuals tend to have in common plus it's a good lesson to note that not every fight has to end with someone dieing. While I admit watching Guts in Berserk absolutely destroy guys left and right is awesome, it's still enjoyable to see interesting enemies undergo character development

1. I've seen enough RPs with their own discords die because of lack of activity, because everyone was more focused on posting memes in the chat. I stick by it.
2. Were you even around on here when that happened?
