Both of you ignore I'm right in Nubia, and even more that I'm effectively going to conquer. Like damn you guys are fighting like two parents who had a bitter divorce. I have my own goals! I just made an alliance with Damot, together we'll conquer Blemmyes, and then I'll marry into their lands.

I should just focus trade with the Arabians and Indians, keep an eye out in the west, and maybe even forge stronger ties with Ptolemaic Egypt.

Alright so loyalties with Rome or Carthage? It's just a matter of what I get while also maintaining my sovereignty. Carthage is slightly better, I really hate the Egyptian Nationalist.

Of course it'll come down to the IC. If in the case that, oh, the entire Carthaginian navy with half its army sinks, the Roman Republic will always welcome you.

The biggest turn-off is your rebel support, mainly cause a nationalist Egypt will look right down south to expand.

Carthage will rise. We'll kick-start Agriculture to balance stuff. Grant citizenship to Phoenician-Libyans, Phoenician colonies and grant Second class status to Africans and Iberians.

Ok, so the reasoning that I'm using with this is the previous rebellions led by Sparta against the Macedonian Kingdom. This happened while Alexander was still king, and his regent in Macedonia (and of Greece), who was Cassander's father, put down the rebellion in a single battle. The Spartans had previously called for Greece to rebel, and they travelled unopposed through Greece, but received no military support. I am also making the assumption that Greece is still in a semi-vassalized, or at least, subservient state, because it is within my sphere of influence. So, the battle was the defeat of a rebel Spartan force (which, at the time, are NOT the Spartans from 300), by a professional corps of infantry veterans. So, it was not a defeat of Sparta as a whole, but of a rebel army.

Also, it was really late, and I was pretty tired. If its still an issue after that explanation, I can change things around.

What'd we do to you? We're just sitting up here, above Greece, minding our business. We are pretty much giving up on rebuilding Alexander's Empire, at least for a while. We're gonna start small, like conquering Greece.
