History:

Rhaenyra Targaryen, "The Realm's Delight", took the throne after the the death of her father, Viserys I. Aided by Ser Criston Cole, Corlys "The Sea Snake" Velaryon and Daemon Targaryen, she was met with little opposition. Daemon Targaryen retook the Stepstones as part of the Second War for the Stepstones, which ended with the Sack of Lys in 134 when a combined Targaryen-Velaryon-Volantene-Pentoshi fleet, with the aid of Caraxes and Stormcloud, annihilated the fleet of the Triarchy and burned half of Lys. Rhaenyra died in 140, giving birth to her youngest son, Corlys. Rhaenyra's eldest son then took the throne as King Jacaerys I Targaryen, casting aside the name Velaryon. Jacaerys was infuriated by the accusations that he was a bastard, and once fed a man to his dragon Vermax for questioning his parentage. However, in most things, Jacaerys ruled well for nearly thirty years. He wed his eldest son Aegon to Rhaena Targaryen, daughter of Jacaerys' half-brother Aegon in order to quiet the rebellious lords. To help keep the peace, Jacaerys divided the Targaryen holdings; Dragonstone and the Crownlands would be given to himself and his descendants and the Stepstones would be given to his cousin Aegon. Jacaerys died of a fall from his horse in 167 AC and is to be succeeded by his son, Aegon.

Too aloft to be loved, too merciful to be feared. Quick to temper but slow to act. Cares for his family, but sees them as servants more than heirs. Finds himself being led quite easily. Wants to be liked by everyone despite knowing that he cannot do so. Born a third son, Orys was destined for the life of servitude. He was good at following the lead of others, of acting as the diplomat between the fights between his elder brothers and the wards who filled the halls of Storm's End with blunted swords and sharp tongues. This has followed him in to adulthood, followed him in the grief of burying three older siblings and nineteen years of rule.
Image
Age: 31
Nicknames: The Thunder, Spirit of Durran
With a father of melting wax, Steffon has grown in to the man he is only as a result of Lord Connington, his foster father. A whirlwind with a blade, a tsunami with a lance, Steffon is feared for his elegant savagery in battle. He is the man who laughed in the face of an army, who bent the knees of pirates, slaughtered an entire village as a warning and declared war on the oceans in revenge for his grandfather. The feared heir of Lord Baratheon, Steffon and his wife are destined for a reign without concern of rebellion. No lord wishes to place themselves against such a man.
Image
Age: 26
Nicknames: The Antlered Knight, Ser Forest-fire
Raised by Lord Caron, Godry is the tempered version of his older brother, quiet and calm. Capable in honourable battle, a legend in the melee, he is infamous for the shadows in which he strides. Poison, rape, and sabotage are weapons to his eyes, more worthy of use than a valyrian greatsword. Softly spoken and without any visible anger, he is nonetheless regarded as a tempest of emotion and raw power, an adversary not to be faced in any tourney or on any battlefield.

Image
Age: 35
Nicknames: The Archer
A once rebellious lord beneath Orys' reign, the dual intervention of Steffon and Godry as ensured that he has stepped back in to line. Image
Age: 64
Nicknames: Lord Grey, Master White
One of the oldest lords alive in the Stormlands, Lord Dondarrion has found a place of respect within the courtrooms of the Stormlands and beyond, facing down numerous skirmishes and disputes with the Dornish and bandit gangs. Growing weak with age, he has become a permanent attendant at Storm's End, where his voice is used by Godry to quell the dissenters to his father's rule.
Image
Age: 46
Nicknames: The Highrider
A close friend to Dorrick Morrigen since providing him with gold and men to retake Crow's Nest, Endew has since found himself bearing the livery of Lady Melyse. His daughter-in-law has allowed House Swann to continue their gradual growth in power. An avid tourney knight, Lord Swann has found himself resenting the rule of Lord Orys. While he opens gives praise to Steffon, the Highrider's less savoury words for his liege often lead to his removal from court.
Image
Age: 15
Nicknames: Baby Turtle, The Seasalt, The Oceanbeast
Married to his cousin at the age of twelve, Robin has already had two children. His parents dead, his in-laws dead, all Robin has in the way of relatives are landless knights more commoner than highborn and his wife. He is the most recent squire for Steffon Baratheon, something which may lead to him becoming yet another young nobleman to have been won over by the heir of the Stormlands.
Image
Age: 29
Nicknames: Dayowl, The Dusk Knight
Brought up in the court of Dondarrion, Symon has spent years on the Dornish/Stormland border. As such, he has learned of the atrocities carried out by the Yronwoods and their vassals. With such knowledge, he has come to hold a hard line in regards to political matters. To him, the Stormlands come first, and the Marchers before the rest. This has led him in to the arms of Godry, a manipulator so enigmatic that none know who he really serves.
Image
Age: 46
Nicknames: Steelflesh, The Shipstorm
One of the men to have attempted rebellion against Lord Orys' rule, Steffon was defeated in a single week of war. Instead of executing him, Orys had the nobleman detained in Storm's End for twelve years, during which Steffon was married to a Baratheon and his sons squired off to Baratheon loyalists. As such, Steffon has found his entire family turned against him in their support of Orys. Slowly however, even he is beginning to see that change will be brought with the ascension of Steffon, and he eagerly awaits that day.
Image

Untrained in the qualities of a ruler, Barristan rose to the lordship after the deaths of over a dozen more likely candidates. More servant than lord, he has had a difficult reign. His sons have gone off to serve in other courts, leaving him with a wife on her deathbed and a household full of old men and underpaid men-at-arms. It is only the generosity of Lord Orys which has allowed him to maintain his court, with all of the feasts and balls that entails.
Image

A tourney knight through and through, Cortnay has already traveled the length and breadth of Westeros. Competing against the realm's greatest, he has earned himself a name as reputable as the Baratheon brothers. As such, he is often sought after by those men who oppose Orys' weak rule. Despite this, or indeed because of this, he has won himself a seat in the Baratheon council. Some say he is a friend Godry, others that he is an opponent to Steffon. Either way, the rulers of the Stormlands know that they have him in their pocket.
Image
Age: 45
Nicknames: The Dreamer, Lord Belt-Buckle
Formerly a sellsword by trade, Harwood was called home after the coronation of Rhaenyra Targaryen. Married off to a Massey girl, he was intended to represent the Stormlander presence in the court of the Red Keep. However, events transpired to see to it that he instead became lord of Bronzegate and a fickle ally of Steffon and Godry Baratheon.
Image
Age: 55
Nicknames: The Pirate Lord, The Poacher, Lord Steel
With a keen eye for trade and bartering, Lord Fell has single-handedly brought his household from their modest place on the borders of the Reach and Crownlands to a trade hub capable of rivaling that of Tumbleton. The flow of gold in Felwood makes the other noblemen of the Stormlands envious, as the Fells have been able to buy their way in to many courts, their brides the most sought after and their men-at-arms the best equipped. One of the few to have befriended Lady Melyse, Renly has become a champion for her interests.

So Robert's Rebellion era in the canon timeline. I can work with that. Not sure who I'll take.

Not Robert's Rebellion, that's 280. 180 was... Blackfyre Rebellions IIRC.

Understood. Just wanted to check since the timeframe can be somewhat important. For example, this would be prior to the full assimilation of Dorne in the canon timeline (assuming a similar course of events happens here). Would they be brought into the Kingdoms by some other event, or have they remained sovereigns in their own right?

Good choice. It was a fairly turbulent series of events that ended up bringing them into the Seven Kingdoms anyways, and if we have a different combination of Kings (and Queens possible, depending on how much Rhaenyra's ascension affected later customs on inheriting the throne) it seems a tad unlikely.

Upon further investigation, I see this RP was already somewhat set-up by an existing group. However, if its all the same to your membership, might I place a bid for the Martells of Dorne?

X As of yet to be clarified Paramour

Behold!!!

Age: 22
Nickname: Sunrise
Description: The eldest child and only son of the late Prince Derin, Garin was raised very close to his father's knee: attempting to instill the kind of discipline and understanding nessicery for a future Prince that he felt his easy-going wife and the tutors required for their ever-growing brood of daughters simply couldn't provide. As such, much of his childhood was spent directly among the court; attending meetings, observing and assisting with the work of officals, studying law and the like. Indeed, there are still many in Sunspear who can remember that warm and helpful bow who could often be found reading the galleries or wandering the hall on some mission for one of his many friends. However, as young me often do, by his early teens he'd developed a great wanderlust and a desire to press authority, increasingly bucking against the heavy restrictions his father's desires placed on them.

So much so that, with the help of a guard who favored him and a handful of fiscally-minded advisors, at the age of 14 he managed to sneak out of Sunspear and smuggle himself across to Tyrosh on a trader's vessel owned by one of his court connections. With his official seals and a fair-sized purse, he spent the better part of a year in the city as an unofficial envoy; wining and dining with the city's merchant lords, learning some of their ways, and eventually negotiating a variety of trade deal's to his partron's advantages. Suffice to say, his family was very cross that the heir had essentially disappeared for so long, but when he returned to Planky Town was a small squadron of trade ships behind him, it was impossible for Prince Derin to remain completely angry.

Instead, to the joy of many of the Greenblood houses, Garin became something of the principality's envoy: most of his early time in true manhood spent away from Sunspear; be it across the sea or trying to keep the peace between his and the "Dragonmen's" Marcher Lords. It was during this time that he built up his now infamous penchant for exotic women (A vice he openly admits to); flat out buying the first two of his Paramours out for slavery in Lys and Tyrosh. It was only two years ago: with the lose of his father to a failure of the bowls, that Garin has been forced to (mostly) settle back down... though one can easily tell he's uneasy being confined to a castle.

That's not to say he's been a poor prince, however. From how he's preformed so far, it's often been said that the Prince "Has mind a mind of gold, a tongue of silver, but a will of brass.". He's well-learned in many things, particularly in manners of money and diplomacy; skills which have served him well in negotiations and managing the principality's wealth, and possesses a natural charm that few can resist. He gets along well with most of his nobles, and in terms of experience is perhaps one of the most cultured of the great nobles in Westros. This is all assuming, however, that one can manage to keep him focused on the task at hand. Used to a fairly free-wheeling life and a deep sense of desire, Garin chaffes under the strict schedule and demands on his time Princedom requires, and when distracted can often make mistakes. He's also not particularly attuned to violence and places great weight on the advice of his (essentially all female) family, leading some of the more rugged lords to grumble he's "soft"... though he is at least passable when it comes to wielding his spear.

Keep Beholding!
Age: 19
Nickname: The Lady of Ten Thousand Tales
Description: The first daughter and second child of the former Prince and Prince's Consort, Clyra was raised the way the second in line for the throne usually is; with just as much rigor but much less respect. Under the watchful eye of Sunspear's Septa and Maester, Clyra was to be trained first and foremost as a scholar law and custom, so she could be a valued advisor to her brother during his reign... but all to frequently, she would grow board with her Septa's droning and dull readings on the Faith, and seeing her interest shrivel up, her Maester began disguising texts or stories as more 'appropriate' tomes, allowing Clyra to hide her discrepancies. Of all the Martell children, she picked up reading and writing earlier than the rest, and so actually began training under the court dictator around the age of 10; writing up records of judgments and meetings to protect against falsehoods.

While she never spent much time with her brother in her house, she's been measured by the standards he's set throughout her life and has a fair bit of admiration for him... even if she was jealous of his ability to travel to places and see sights she could only ever hope to read about. Indeed, after the scare with Garin's disappearance (and continued absence from the safety of Sunspear), the farthest she was allowed to go during her father's reign was the Greenbood; where she'd occasionally accompany her relatives to Planky Town or travel with the Orphans upriver to meet with this or that lordling on the search for a potential husband. It was this resentment and desire to know more; written so often in the many letters she exchanged with Garin, that caused him to be being sending gifts from the Free Cities to brighten up Sunspear; books, tapestries, paintings... up to and including hiring on a number of skilled Bravosii swordsmen as "instructors" for Dornish soldiers... one a certain swift striker she'd eventually take a deep liking to.

Since Garin's assentation to the throne, she's remained dutifully in his service and shows no intentions of trying to usurp him... and for good reason. Even discounting the kindess he's showed her, Clyria knows she would make a terrible leader; she's naïve, indecisive, softhearted and insists on keeping herself that way as much as possible. After all, it makes life so much more enjoyable. Despite this, one on one she's incredibly warm and witty, and is an endless wellspring of academic, historical, and cultural knowledge (even if most of it is totally divorced from experience). Like her brother, she enjoys the 'exotic'... though far more used to creature comforts, and is a apt dancer and singer. She hopes to one day tutor her nephews and nieces in hopes of making them better rulers... if her brother actually picks a wife.

We're Still Beholding.
Age: 26
Nickname:Phantom of the Sands
Description: The Eldest son of Lady Briaranna and Harken Uller (3rd son of the current Lord Uller), Odeln grew up close to his cousins... mostly because his father feared for their family's safety with his increasingly paranoid father. At the request of her sister, Briaranna insisted Odeln be put through martial training, so the less martially inclined Prince Garin could have a friend capable of looking after him and help keeping him from getting into too much trouble. Paged and Squired to the virtuous Ser Jlen (A Sworn Sword of Sunspear; having spent decades fighting in the Marches before growing too old and 'retiring'), Odeln was often denied the usual comforts of nobility as part of his training: Jlen's methods trying to duplicate the conditions of March warfare and produce a true warrior. With an iron will, Odeln took these hardships well; serving normally during the day and training in early morning and later night in 'unconventional' combat tactics in the purest Dornish tradition. By the time he was in his teens, he'd become a lean and swift warrior: though overlooked by most of the household troops for how poorly he actually preformed on the sparing grounds.

This made his appointment to the head of the Sunspear cavalry by Garin a shock: most of the 'normal' soldiers grumbling it was a mattering of politics rather than actual skills. After a year, however, few would contest the maneuverability and javelining skills of his trainees. As for him personally, he's a stern, fairly humorless man: focused on duty and the oath's he sworn more than anything else. While not the strongest charger or swordsmen in a one on one fight, he's learned a lot from his master and what tricks he's picked up from his Bravo compatriots; becoming a master of speed, hit-and-run, and evasion: indeed, several times he's forced knights in armor to collapse from exhaustion while fighting in the Dornish sun without landing a single blow on them. While most would consider him dim (He can't actually read)

Still more Beholding...

Age: 18
Nickname:The Harlot Huntress of Horn Hill
Description: Born the 2nd child of Lord Tarly , Lyn clearly took strongly after her father and her family's martial tradition. After being given a puppy for her 4th nameday, Lyn discovered her deep love of dogs: spending much her free time with Horn Hill's kennelmaster, who taught her all the tricks and commands she wanted. In her youth, her father tolerated this; figuring it was a phase she would go through or her Septa would beat out of her, but Lyn continuously found herself being attracted out of her sewing room and into the outdoors; finding joy in adventuring her family's extensive woodlands. This too, at least begrudgingly was accepted so long as she remained under the protection of the family's rangers, but in her early teens one of the men began falling for her, and in an effort to win her affection began teaching her archery.

Though weak and a terrible shot at first, Lyn found having a physical hobby a surprisingly relaxing change from the stuffy chores of a lady, and with her beloved hound Dasher soon decided she'd try her hand at hunting small animals. This... did not go well, as in the first few months she didn't manage to hit anything, which made her increasingly frustrated until, one summer's day, she caught up with deer who's leg had already been hit by another hunter. That deer was her first kill... which she spent about 15 crying over after she'd realized what she'd done. At least, until the hunter who's kill she'd stolen arrived... a man she ended up shooting almost on instinct after he tried to attack her for stealing his kill.

Though she brooded over if for a few days, Lyn eventually got over her sadness... deciding she wasn't going to cry over killing those who meant her or those she loved harm. Despite the fact she'd hated killing the deer, however, the name "Huntress" stuck among the castle staff. Since then she hasen't shot another (non-aggressive) animal once... though she did began practicing on human-shaped targets. The joking, and the general distain for her choice of lifestyle as her family continually tried to push her into behavior "That wouldn't leave her as a spinsteress", she began shutting herself off in her room when forced to remain inside unless obligate otherwise... what matches her parents tried to make falling apart as the lords wanted 'proper wives'.

That is, until around a year ago when; after just under a year of escalating raids between the Blackmont and Tarly border populations, Garin decided to personally intervene to avoid the situation from escalating to actual military action. As young hearts often are, though, she found herself deeply crushing on the charming, exotic prince that visited their isolated stronghold: misintpreting polite gestures and curiosity as signs of mutual love at first sight. So, being the brash girl she was, when Garin's party was set to leave she blended herself in with the servants; only discovered three days later when some of the other servants caught her... behind a tree. Though Garin ought to have sent her back, he allowed his heart to get the better of him; sympathizing with her hatred of being cooped up appreciating her spunk. So, he took her under his wing: giving her the title of 1st Paramour not to much out of favor, but to avoid any international incidents by making a noble lady his 'whore'. In Dorne, she's received an accepting, pleasant welcome, and despite the lack of the forest she feels most at home in has decided to stay with her charming host.

Ok, you can just look normally now.

Valyraa "Scales", Current 2nd Paramour of the Prince of Dorne
Age: 21
Nickname: Dragoness of the Pits
Description: What people think about Valyraa's history depends quite a bit on weather one believes her or not: after all, in the world of pit slaves its always difficult to extract the rumors and hype around about a fighter's background from actual fact... though there's usually a lot more of the former than the later. This much, however, is fact: Valyraa's parents were both slaves and, thus, she was born into chains. Her owner, who made his wealth mostly in winesinks, tried to turn her into a serving girl... but after she started bucking against the work and learning to knock the lights out of handsy drunks with an unusually high amount of dignity for a Lysian slave, he decided to shift her training into somewhere her 'spunk' might be of more use. As it turned out, Valyraa was a natural with a blade, for awhile her owner attempted to sell her off to a sellsword company... but as one might imagine, they weren't keen on hiring woman. So, once she'd gotten a decent amount of training, she was eventually put up as a "prize fighter" in the establishments that catered to that sort of thing. Though not the greatest, she did manage to survive through her first few years in the lower rungs... getting a fair fanbase among the regulars.

And, like any professional pit fighter (especially the rare ones that managed to stay as comely as her), whispers began circulating about those fans who wanted to know more about her... which her managers were only happy to oblige. So Valyraa; who'd been raised on hopeful stories of mistaken identities and rising from the gutters by her parents, quickly seized onto the idea when her owners began circulating stories that she was actually descended from a bastard son of Jaehaerys I; a tale that complimented her more calm and dignified temperament when compared to most of the "wildwomen" she faced off against and unusually canny resemblance to the (somewhat stylized) portraits of the late Sister-Queen Rhaenys. It was a tale she took to heart... because she was a naïve young girl fooling herself, most would claim, that hope helping her keep her spirit up and alive through her rough life as she waited for her fabled Prince or Knight in Shining Armor to come rescue her.

And, rare as these things actually were in the real world, against all odds he actually came. As one the patrons who was entertaining Garin on one of his missions to Lys, her owner and his compatriots decided to host a little tournament for the entertainment at one of their pre-negotiation dinners. It was here that Garin first saw the girl in action, and took an immediate liking to her beauty, skill, and tenacity. He cheered her on throughout and night and, when she finally won, he offered her a place at his table as a prize. Throughout the next few weeks, he insisted on continuing to see and speak with her, taking a deep interest in the background that had been woven around her and finding her company far more pleasing then the 'disingenuous' bed-slaves he knew were just acting. He so enjoyed her that, by the time he was set to leave Lys, he'd decided to buy her freedom and invite her back to Dorne with him. Enchanted and half in disbelief, Valyraa agree, and for the last 5 years has served as one of Garin's personal guards and paramours.

Though she's since lost her position as 1st Paramour to Lyn Tarly, Valyraa remains almost fanatically loyal to her Prince and liberator... due both to her deep passion and habits of obedience and discipline ingrained in her throughout her childhood. Emotionally, she is very expressive and energetic when feeling happy, but quickly shuts herself in when depressed... feeling particularly bitter whenever she disappoints her Prince. Considering herself just as much a lady and knight as a paramour, she tries to live as closely to 'noble habits' as she can... even if she does come off a little stinted and awkward in a courtly setting. She's far more comfortable as a performer, and besides her martial skills is also fairly good at disguising herself and playing a role, if the situation should call for more covert protection.

a little more Beholding, please?
Myrcella Nerherma
Age: 23
Nickname: The Lavender Lady
Description: The 2nd of Garin's Essosian Paramours, Myrcella was born as one of the later daughters of the large and prosperous Nerherma house; one of Dorne's larger trading partners in Tyrosh. Almost entirely overlooked by her parents in favor of her many elder siblings, Myrcella was raised almost entirely by her slave-nanny; developing an almost standoffish attitude towards her neglectful father. As her brothers and sisters were receiving the education to take over the family's holdings, she was given a relatively free hand to pursue her own interests; for a time considering going into the high preforming arts. However, her teachers would eventually declare her hopeless as she couldn't learn to control her emotions for the deep, serious dramas that would be suitable for her station. Instead, she was funneled into dancing; the one area she truly excelled at, her minstral teachers eventually branching her out into acrobatics as she proved extremely flexible. While such follies were considered 'shameful' behavior, Myrcella was so far bellow anybody's radar that nobody paid it any mind.

That is, until Axel Nerherma; the patriarch of the family, began trying to build closer ties with the Dornish royal house in hopes of getting a stronger hold on the trade in Dornish luxuries. Knowing the Westrosi sealed many deals through marriage, he took a closer look at his daughters close to the Prince-apparent's age and suddenly took a newfound interest in Myrcella; putting her through a crash course of lady-like behavior in hopes of pushing her on him during negotiations to lower customs fees. Though Myrcella bucked under the clearly callous control of her father, she went along with it well enough: believing a marriage to Dorne; where women had more rights, might be a ticket out of her dead-end life without becoming some kind of circus traveler.

As one of the few women not suddenly taken in by Garin's prestige, station and handsomeness, he found Myrcella's cold behavior a little curious. At her, he didn't want to take her, being already happy with Valyraa, but as Axel insisted and she expressed a clear interest in at least getting to Dorne he finally gave in and allowed her to have a 'trial run' as his Paramour. Though their relationship was fairly cool at first, they've both come to respect one another as Myrcella's initial suspicions were eased, and Garin overcame the adjustment of dealing with a slightly less controlled and yielding woman.

Myrcella is a girl with a lot of energy and (increasingly) cheer: finding joy and challenge in failures and obstacles. She doesn't fawn over Garin like Lyn or Valyraa does, though their 'friendship with benefits' continues to grower deeper, and actually has the gale to tease him and call him out on his mistakes from time to time... something he's found pleasant in small doses if still a bit off-putting. Over the past few years, at Garin's request, she's channeled her energy into swordsplay; combining it with her acrobatics and dancing trailing to produce a fluid, fast striking style. When it comes to Lyn and Valyraa, she bares neither any ill will... though she does tease them on occasion, and sees the three of their position as a 'sisterhood' rather than a competition for wife status. On the downside she has trouble making friendships outside her small group, and remains politically tone-deaf.

Very solid. The only little mistake I can see is you calling Rhaena Aegon's 'son', when it should be daughter. It'd also be nice to clarify how Aegon II and his potential supporters handled his skipping over. Have they gotten over it, or are there some who still whisper that his paternal line is still the legitimate Targaryan head?

I will fix that ASAP. (This is what happens when you write this stuff when you are tired  )
Viserys I never remarried... I should have mentioned that. Will work on the history more tomorrow.
