War never changes.

But the reason's why war's are fought differ. Some war's are pure in nature, fought to stop oppression, a noble crusade and attempt to make the world a better place by eliminating the evil in the world. Some war's are fought because of fear, fear of the unknown, fear of hat another nation could be capable of. Some war's are fought to eliminate idea's. Then some war's are fought due to a mixture of reason's.

The current war that Nasaira finds itself in is a war against an idea, against a belief. Though some view this idea as a way to make everything equal between the rich and the poor, most other nation's view this idea with fear, fear that this idea will spread and topple other governments. The idea that is feared is communism.

Nasaira has been engaged in a war against communism in the jungle nation of Rabristan, a coastal nation thats people mostly live in rural villages. The war started two years ago when the communist government of North Rabristan invaded the democratic South Rabristan. Nasaira answered the plea for help, sending the first combat troops to the region at the on start of the conflict. Initially Nasaira sent only 16,000 troops, now two years later troop levels in the region have reached 275,000.

The terrain of Rabristan has proven difficult as most of the region is dense jungles, rivers and rice paddies. Public support for the war has remand steady for the most part but recently there as been several protest over how the war is being managed. Several key politicians wants to stop fighting a defensive and go on the offensive and lead an invasion of North Rabristan. While th notion is always defeated in the senate, the military keeps fighting it's defensive war against the communist guerrillas and the conventional forces of North Rabristan.

This where you come in, you will take the role of one of the many me of the Nasairan forces fighting this war.

OOC: Ok so this war is very similar to the Vietnam war. you will take the role of a soldier fighting the war.

Bio: By the age of 18 Jebediah left his parent's home to travel the countryside. Gathering a backpack and supplies he set out on his journey sating a deeply embedded wanderlust, and abandoning a volatile home life. He traveled his homeland of Nasaira for a year, sleeping in his tent, under bridges, in lobbies and abandoned buildings, living off of panhandling and a bracelet weaving hobby. By the age of 19 Jebediah met a girl two years his senior who was living in a commune in the countryside. The commune was more of a flophouse that housed twelve people in three bedrooms and one living room. Drugs came into Jebediah's life very quickly, primarily amphetamines which he abused night and day. Before long one of Jebediah's roommates was arrested and the authorities saw fit to begin accusing the residents of several different charges of smuggling and human trafficking. Jebediah fled with his girlfriend and went back toward the capital, life was rough in the city with his new addiction. Jebediah soon began spiraling into a circle of drug binging to theft to binging again. After two more years of living on the streets he came back to find his girlfriend stabbed and raped to death in the abandoned house they were squatting in. After this he attempted to turn his life around and hold a steady job, but this was no easy task with his drug addiction and he found himself fired from every job after a couple of months. Frustrated and already reaching his mid 20's he walked to the local recruitment center and applied to the Imperial Army.
