Character Name: Blake M. Pool
Nation Name: Sonitusia
Sex: Male
Ethnicity|Nationality: British-Irish|American
Race: Second Generation Partial - Siberian Husky: Has pointed, fluffy dark grey ears, with a white bushy tail. It tends to make him a friendly and gentle person, but he's also highly alert of his surroundings. His intelligence is also above his parents due to this.
Birthdate|Age: 22nd July, 2016|14

Occupation: Pre-End|Current N/A|Seeker of Truth
Starting Group: Strangers or Loners?
Survivors Ties:
  • Hugh V. Homegarde - Strangers - A piece of information that Blake had obtained from old photo albums, was that his parents were very good friends with a certain man and woman. From this, he wishes to find the child of this couple.
Starting Equipment:
  • Black-grey windbreaker and a pair of jeans as clothing.
  • Photo album of his parents and a world before The End.
  • L90A1 (MP5KA1) once owned by his mother.
  • Backpack filled with the bare necessities and ammo.
  • Harmonica, also from his mother.
RP Example: 'Ello

Additional Fun Stuff: Not Required

Personality: Just like his mother and father, Blake is a confident and hardheaded kid. But underneath his high self-esteem, he is a kind hearted person and always wants to know more about the people around him. He is ready to risk his life to protect someone he cares about, no matter the odds. He has his love of explosions from his mother, while an interest of armored vehicles would most likely be his father's.
Character Quest: To explore and find out more about the world he lives in, and what horrors the past must have done to make the present as so.
Moral Alignment: Neutral Good with Chaotic leanings
Bio: Blake Myleson Pool was born to a family with military ties. His mother, Fauna Pool, was a tanker for the British Army, while his father, Florian Myles, was a mechanic. His time with them was short-lived, as they both perished from radiation when he was but 7 years old. Memories of being with them had all but vanished from the boy's mind, but they had left everything that they had in the world for him, expecting the boy to continue their legacy in his footsteps. For seven more years he scoured the wastes, looking for answers to a dark and cruel world.
Theme Song: Thousand Foot Crutch - War of Change (Acoustic Cover)

Seems legit. I'll update him to the roster soon.

I'm currently working on OOC maintence guys. Adding some sub-locations so you guys have an easier time finding things to occupy your PC's. I'll tell you guys of the updates in an announcement post in a few hours.

Ideally, Alex would then hope that the whole pack mentality thing would kick in, allowing him to assert his dominance over Sven like he would the rest of his pack. And if that failed, he'd probably just shoot him.

My "one bullet" comment was about after Sven gets turned into a partial, not during the process.

Considering that you have quantity and quality on your side, I seriously doubt Sven can challenge Alex's intentions in a fight for which both sides are prepared. My character isn't an idiot. He knows that all too well also.

When Alex is the most comfortable with Sven's services, when he is the most assured of Sven's loyalties... that's when you should watch out for that Karbin m/94 bullet.

Of course, it is indeed possible that pack mentality would kick in and Sven bows down in true submission. But that's going to mean that your character needs to gain a lot more respect that he currently has from Sven.

Oh yeah and Tri accepted me.

I would imagine that there would be one run by the Sixers, considering that their faction runs around trade.

If he got infected, he probably wouldn't be able to use a gun... ignoring that he'd lack the human intelligence to figure out how, his hands would probably be too mutated to pull the trigger.

The real catch is bring able to turn it all off after the fact

I think the real catch is being able to turn it back on. Purely evil characters, or good characters who descend to evil, and stay there, are kinda boring. I think the best characters are the ones who are able to play jump rope with morality, and land on the safe side by the last page of the IC. But then, I like heroic and happy endings.

The Command wrote:I'm sorry but I think I'm going to have to drop this, time just isn't on my side anymore. Thanks for the chance

Sorry to hear that, but thanks for playing.

I'm probably going to nerf the infection factor for Partials somehow. More on that in my update

The V O I D wrote:Should I post for Wolfe? I have no idea what to do and I'm honestly not sure if the Angel post for him is up yet.

If your writers mind is firing blanks today, the Co-Ops or I could generate some NPCs and an event to bring you into the story. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes, depending on when you get back to me.

Saskisdi wrote:Is there an established marketplace in MO Town? I'd imagine that there'd have to be, but I'm just making sure.

Oh yeah and Tri accepted me.

It is morning. Six-Sevenish across the California Deadlands. I just established a marketplace, along with a whole lot of new sub-locales. Check what I say in updates.

We've been holding the main story to give you and Temp some time to recoup. Basically, everyone's getting a feel for each other and their position in the group. And now announcements.

OP Update Edit 34

Survival Section
  • Added additional information on Vector.
  • Simplified and made clearer Partial/Vector creature description, as well as Vector Generations. New category, Primal, has replaced Vector.
  • Section re-organized. Organization as follows: Vector, Orange Mist, Primal, Partial.
  • Images and descriptions updated to mutants Blooding Birds, Man O' War & Colossus
NPC & Player Character Roster
  • Complete list of PC, NPC, and involved players as of 4:39pm -6 CST, 12/11
  • New (CLOSED)/(OPEN) feature for groups.
Lore Section
  • New sub-locations added for player benefit. Can be found by clicking place spoiler, under Places of Note.
  • Bolded references to PCs & important NPCs locations within Places of Note.

Whats Your OP Up To?

In no particular order:
  1. Hold staff meeting with Co-Ops. Quick "State of the Thread" discussion. Will touch on upcoming events, work out future events, and see where the story is going.
  2. Iron out whats agreed on, and rework what wasn't, in staff meeting.
  3. Get acquainted with IC. Take into account new posts made and their effect. Write and throw up IC responses and start events in OP mega post.
  4. Get character to Level 50 on Fallout 4
  5. Finally watch new season of Haikyuu!! & Blue Bloods
  6. Celebrate the end of Finals somehow

I'm free for comments, questions, OP insults and smirky conversation for the next hour. My F5 key is standing by.

Addendum

  • Updated the map. Have plans for many cool, new icons. Shout out to Templar High Council, our Silent Cartographer, for working in the sprites.
  • Shout outs and Life Saver Awards to Sonitusia, Hetland 2, Adiannadia for major contributions to the OP pages. I'd be half as finished and twice as stressed without you ;)
  • Tweaked Partial description. Ability to infect humans nerf'd (sorry Partial Players, but that was OP); weaker and more unlikely compared to Primal.

Whats tonight for you? Like in the next few hours or in the next six?

Also, for ideas about the NPC post, would you like it to be more calm or tense, more action or dialogue oriented? Tossing in some general terms of your own would help me narrow what you'd like to see, but still give me room to make my own post flow.

The infection is less likely to take hold. Partials have a 50% shot at passing on Vector, compared to Primals 97% infection rate. Logic for this is that the benefits of humanity come at the consequence of less infectability, as the Vector has retarded in the Partials.

You've got a 2-3 hour wait, along with Void, since I need time away from the monitor. These updates take a lot longer than you'd think, and my butts becoming one with the swivel chair :p

I mean, tonight for me is probably within the next 2-4 hours, but I'm going to sleep in 2-3.

And as for what the post should look like, I'd prefer if it's relaxed with maybe some minor tension, and if it was a general mix of dialogue and action that'd be good.

The Infirmary: The old Alcatraz prison infirmary, now serving as a makeshift base hospital

The Lab: A small laboratory where the Fort's more scientifically minded individuals manufacture medicines and conduct research

Oh. I assumed you'd be needing it way more. 50/50 chance works for me. I assume multiple bites/scratches would increase the chance or no?

I'm back on the clock, and working on IC, in 24 minutes. Its anime Friday, and Noragami calls.

@Void, your wishes have been heard, and will be done.

@Brusia, nice catches on those. Will add them in my next update tomorrow.

@Arana, no, but good question. Reason being that it would make the nerf useless (Partial bites a guy x amount of times, and the infection rate rises x amount with every bit).

Oh hey Shy. I wanted to ask you something.

Now, I've been in a few of your RPs. At least one, at any rate, and while I loved every second of it, you seem to experience what I shall completely non-offensively dub the Triplex, or TriStates Complex - you spend a ton of time crafting a beautiful work of collaboration, and then you mysteriously disappear. Maybe that was because EHEG was at its peak, but still - should I join this not-so-new reboot of yours?
