Following Lord Eddard Stark's execution at the hands of House Lannister, Lord Eddard's son Robb has been proclaimed as "King in the North and of the Trident" by the Northmen and Riverlanders. Joffrey Baratheon sits upon the Iron Throne, but only because of the support of his uncle, Tywin Lannister. Stannis Baratheon has declared Joffrey a bastard, and from his stronghold of Dragonstone, prepares for war. Renly Baratheon, younger brother of Stannis, with the support of House Tyrell of Highgarden and most of the Stormlords, has declared himself king as well. The Seven Kingdoms brace for war and Winter is Coming.

This RP will be taking place in the Riverlands and you will be RPing as a minor character who is caught up in the events of the War of Five Kings. You cannot, I repeat CANNOT play as a character from the story. You have to invent your own character. Also, not changing the story. You can't go over to Robb Stark and say "Hey bruh, don't go the Edmure's Wedding, 'k fam?". Actually, that is Meta-Gaming and lousy RP as well, but you get the point. You are more observing the war then changing it.

Biography:

Jonathor was born a bastard, the son a Knight and Tavern Maid. His mother raised him until he was 11, when his father claimed him and took him as his squire. He was knighted at age 20 and served in the army of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, briefly meeting the Prince before the Battle of the Trident. Jonathor nearly lost his eye at the Trident and was badly wounded. He lost his father, his prince and most of his belongings. He was brought back to health by a peasant woman, Jeyne, who who he wed the next year.

Jonathor served as a loyal knight of House Darry for the next 14 years. He led a fairly happy life, he and his wife had three children. All this changed when Ser Gregor Clegane sacked Darry. Jonathor's entire family was slaughtered, as was his liege lord. The Lannisters and Baratheons have taken everything from him. His family, his king, his lord and his home. Jonathor swore an oath to the Warrior that he would not rest until he had taken vengeance. Jonathor is now seeking employment as a sellsword.

They sailed slaver's bay fighting for one lord or another gaining wealth as sellswords. Ixidor married Nyessa when he turned 21 and soon she was with child. However, during one contract in Yunkai the company fell on the wrong side. While they were away fighting, the camps were raided by another mercenary band and by the time they returned all of the women had been slain, their wealth looted, and their reserve horses stolen. They took their payment and set sail for the free cities.

For the next several years the small band fought for various magisters in the free cities or acted as his heavy guard. Wearing black armor with a Blue Dragon on their shields always made for a good showing on guard duties. With the outbreak of the War of Five Kings and the end of their contract in Pentos, the company determined that it was time to cross the Narrow Sea and put their heavy cavalry skills to good use. Landing in Saltpans, they began a search for a new Contract where they could potentially gain greater wealth and possibly titles.

His twin was destined to marry one of Lord Egan's older sons to further cement the claim.
Before the turn of the moon, however, Roger had been able to negotiate, promise and outright threaten his siblings and their lieges to gather an armed host to retake their home. With Wull clansmen and Tallhart bowmen, Glover spears and Flint horsemen, the commoner Glenn brothers overthrew their noble father-in-law. In doing so, the Glenns swore their lineage away to their noble benefactors.
With Catelyn free to do what she wanted, Roger felt content enough to venture south, spurred on by a drive to better understand the qualities of a knight and the Seven. In service to Lord Locke, Roger quickly accepted the duties of a squire, finding himself being knighted just after his twentieth birthday. In order to do so, he renounced his gods in favour of the Seven. He followed Lord Locke in marching south under Robb, remaining with the foot levies with Roose before the fateful battle with Tywin.
Now, laying on a muddy bank of the Green Fork, Roger must decide what to do. Does he strike north in the hopes of rejoining his fellow rebels? Maybe he should go west in search of Riverrun and Robb? Or indeed, should he push south in search of the Lions?

Following a tourney at Lannisport, Ser Gared was invited to Casterly Rock where Lord Tywin invited him to join his house guard. Ser Gared readily accepted, seeing a chance to prove himself beyond the tourneys. His first action was during the Defiance at Duskendale. As the defenders laid down their arms, King Aerys ordered their deaths. On the orders of Lord Tywin Ser Gared did just that, though it left a foul taste in his mouth. Ser Gared would remain in the service of Tywin Lannister, even after he returned to Casterly Rock. However, they would soon return to the capital. Ser Gared was present at the Sack of King's Landing having fought through the city to the Red Keep. The sight of Elia Martell and her children's bodies was nearly enough to make him vomit.

With the War in the Riverlands beginning Ser Gared was again called upon. Gared was tasked with leading a raiding party across the Riverlands. Unlike his counterparts, Ser Gared is relatively kind to victims. Following the Battle of the Camps, Ser Gared has continued to fight in the name of King Joffrey.
