Yes, yes. You can even have workers in another civ's domain as long as the host civ agrees to it.

Duh, Naginata units. Using a glaive is a very good idea since it can engage both Cav and Infantry effectively.

Vulnier, I don't think you actually want to get a spare pop from that village- by my calculations, you already have 7 Pop when you explored that village, and that's the maximum food you can receive from your home province. If you take on another population, that population will just immediately starve and cause a revolt risk.

Just really large 2 handed shields and people move in position to change the formation, shape,and makeup of the shield wall. A litteral wall.
