Also, a possible tip for the future, don't get old threads locked, just direct everyone to the new one. That way people can still quote those posts or edit them if they had information, and stuff like that.

Yeah, gravedigging is annoying. Well, it was just a suggestion. Information can still be copied and pasted into a new post if edits are needed, and any links changed, so it's not an exceedingly important matter.
