I'm still working on the OP, but feel free to start posting. I'll inform everyone what stuff their starting domain has in a moment.

The city of the apocalypse... is a different place. Most travelers question the name and wonder why it is called such a usually bad word. Many travelers whisper in corners of the city and question the city's leadership for calling the city. But what they don't understand is the Apocalypse to the natives of this town.
The Apocalypse is to be short, a religious idea developed by the founders about the deaths and rebirths of the world and they believe we are not the first. One of those that knew even a little about it were a people called the Zyrasians. How they knew the founders didn't know but a fragment of their small amount of knowledge was told to the founders and the founders decided to stop and make a settlement so they would have time to study it.
Meanwhile in the farms surrounding the city a lot of the population worked to produce food for the city. Many people also were focused on the building of an official city shrine for thinkers to well think about ideas such as religion or the horses who roam outside the city.
However one of the most important things happening was a team of explorers who worked for the government of the city to explore territory and find new places for resources or possible fragments of clues of the Apocalypse. They decided to head north to region with a lack of major lakes and bodies of water to look at colonizing the region.4 pop work the farms for 6 food
2 pop make a shrine aka they produce 2 raw labor and with the free IO make a shrine
