Ah, okay. Sorry, didn't know about that. But the mercenaries came from German states, which may or may not be Germanic in its composition of population.

Ah, okay. Sorry, didn't know about that. But the mercenaries came from German states, which may or may not be Germanic in its composition of population.

Most were Hessian or Brunswickian if I am remembering correctly

They were citizens of North-German states who had strong ties to Great Britain. Hessen, Braunschweig, but probably most importantly Hannover. The "King's Royal Legion" was a Hannoverian army detachment. Hessians and Brunswickers weren't allowed in, yet they were the most effective German unit fighting in the British army throughout the Napoleonic wars.

Expanding on the previous idea (sort of) what about a early 18th Century RP, based in Europe and the Near East? War of Spanish Succession and the Great Northern War.

damn I just looked back at the old 2013 RPs where we made up our own civilizations and wow were those fun.

Tbh I might just write an alternate history story with a PoD so far back that it's basically that...

Hi, so I'm the roleplay director for my region. I have been struggling since I became director with how much structure the economics of the roleplay should have due to rampant godmodding and unrealistic economics before I became director in my region. Our current active membership is around thirty members which is an increase since I joined when we only had around 10 active roleplayers. I hae begun to feel that the economic system that I have designed has gotten too cumbersome and complex which is detering potential players and preventing the staff from being able to manage everything. I'm going to link the encyclopedia, a google sheet with all the stats, and would appreciate any feedback from people here.
