It's a map though, there's better things to do with one's time.

I disagree. Wanking Lithuania is never a bad thing to do with your time.

Did you know that the Balts took down the Western Roman Empire? The Heruli were Balts and they were in Odoacer's army. Then they returned to modern day Lithuania and formed the nation, and since they Romanized for all those years, Lithuania is the legitimate successor to the Roman Empire.

Vandals? Also Balts. Getae? Yep, Balts too. Slavs? Started out as a distinct Baltic branch.

It's Balts all the way down.

I believe the modern consensus was that multiple things took down Rome, the tribes were just the final straw. Also, If I recall correctly, the Vandals came from central poland and the Getae lived on the Danube. Heruli are also though to have settled around Belgrade after the WRE fell

also, the ERE were the successor to Rome, not the unwashed tribes who delivered the death knell

A man's gotta circlejerk.

Just a FYI - I didn't make any of this shit up. This is a legitimate hypothesis proposed by a Lithuanian historian (a fringe historian with no influence on actual historiography, but a historian nonetheless) on the origins of Balts and Lithuania.

Except for the Slavic part - that one is a widely accepted hypothesis worldwide.

Nah, HoM.
TG if you have questions about RP. If I don't know the answer, I know someone who does.

Nah, HoM.

Actually, RH, slightly tweaked. Kind of ironic, really; RH was the first and only RP I used this app template, but I'm pretty sure it's the best app I've ever made, close enough to perfect.

Let's see:

  • What's the point of the space fleet section if we're never going to reach the space age anyway?
  • Only one line for symbols? Not even separating into flag/coat of arms?
  • Each line is trying to be an app in it's own right. Like, the ethnicity section requires both ethnic composition, ethnic history and ethnic relation to others. The government structure section requires you to write an entire political treatise. ffs
  • Too much focus on military, not enough on economy. You know how in nation RPs, everyone is only about war? Well YOU are the problem. All of you! In the military section, you want the player to describe every section of it in detail, how many troops, how many that, what is the organization and what they are good at. What is in the economy section? Oh yeah, plop down a paragraph of "oh yeah, we are doing fine, stop asking and let us bathe in enemy blood". The trade section is alright, if not because it requires you to actually open up Wealth of Nations a few times, but everything else falls short. What is the average GDP growth? What private or public industries are in the lead? What does the economy specialize in, if anything? What about agriculture? Is it a monoculture export system like Africa, or a developed and mechanized one like in Europe? What are the preferred methods of transport and what is the connectivity between your country and others' infrastructure systems?
  • lol "miscellaneous"
  • Not even using a spreadsheet for economy and military, what plebs, learn from Reddit
  • Where are the goals?
  • Where is the Lithuania section?
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.
