What were some really good and well written RPs set from the late 19th century to the eve of World War I? It's okay if they continued into World War I.

I'm planning an RP set in that time period and I really want to get the feel of the period down. I was wondering if any RPs did that really well.

I'd be interested in such an RP if we were playing as Austrian troops.

Actually, this is something I might OP. It's right up my alley, given that my best-known RP was Band of Brothers, something in a similar vein. The conflicting ethnic groups within the army could make things rather interesting. Would probably be set in the Alpine Front.

I'd also be interested in doing a house-based 1500s RP, that would have lots of events, and would focus on the religious and political struggles of the early 16th Century. Might do that one soon.

I also have a few ideas I've been floating around in my head for a while but never got around to actually making a RP of.

Including:

My Brother's Keeper - RP set in the Yugoslavian War, taking place in a small Bosnian town populated by Croats and Bosniaks. Character RP.

Name TBD - RP set in a fictional African state during the height of the Cold War. Inspired by Cristo's magnificent War on Terror RP. Mix of Character and Faction RP.

Kingmaker - RP set in the Wars of the Roses. Character RP.

A House Divided - Strategic RP of the American Civil War. Players would control major politicians and generals of the conflict, directing political choices and military campaigns. Mix of Character and Faction RP.

All these sound interesting, especially the house RP and house divided. I would suggest using the Gods & Generals RP as a template for House Divided

Not many of them.

I need a good map maker.

I messed around with the EUIV map. It was a nightmare, and once I was nearly finished my PC froze and I had to restart, losing the map.

I mean, it's hard for me to miss when the first thing I look at in any nation RP map is Lithuania.

Also, just to reaffirm the dude's pleb position, he thinks that Poland and Lithuania were united before Lublin 1569. Brush up on your EE history mang
