So I have a question for you veteran RPers.

What were some really good and well written RPs set from the late 19th century to the eve of World War I? It's okay if they continued into World War I.

I'm planning an RP set in that time period and I really want to get the feel of the period down. I was wondering if any RPs did that really well.
TG me about my avatars for useless trivia.

A very good link right here.

Not sure that'll work on Elepis considering he dislikes (from what I've observed):
A: Nationalism
B: Religion being taken seriously
C: The Irish"

All the New Imperialisms (The Real Ones) did pretty well. Forge II, may it rest in peace, also did very well in that respect.

Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. @Austria and Bavaria, you still never explained to me why that 1880's RP died, it seemed like it was doing good.

I'm also expecting a lot of flak for what I just did but oh well, nostalgia demanded.

I know this is all most likely a joke, but are we considering all of western civilization as this "we"?

This has got me interested in possibly doing a reboot of Age of Glory, one of my favorite RP series.

Age of Glory?

A 1650 AH; deviated from history somewhat, but not too much.

That was the second/third installment, the first (and arguably the best and longest lived) was set in 1505. It was managed very well, we had a pretty devoted group of core nations and it was in an interesting time frame, time travelled relatively fast so by the time it ended the wars of religion were in full swing and though the America's were largely colonized the Aztec and Iroquois stuck around. It was fun, while it lasted.

Not many of them.

I'd be interested in such an RP if we were playing as Austrian troops.
