Since the specialty is Masters of war, is it possible that I can get no attrition when invading other nations? Or is that too OP?

There will be techs for that.
If you want to, we could say that your troops don't take climate-attrition anywhere but deserts, wetlands and rainforests.
Supply attrition won't be affected though. Also, if a domain has climate-related special attrition, well, that will also be suffered.
