G, any ideas for a starting post I could incorporate? I've got writer's block, I worked too much on a regional WW2-equivalent timeline earlier.

Depends really. What measures do you intend to take? Erect a starting shrine to get some research going, like Lunas and I?

I already have free writing, but I really want to grow my pop and start to research religion stuff to get religion up and running. Then I'll try and research pretty much what I can.

You're probably too far away for the first Epoch, but yeah, popping up a Shrine could be wise.

I just noticed that you aren't told how to get Wealth in the OP.

Wealth can be generated using Industrial Output, or various resources like Gold.

You're probably too far away for the first Epoch, but yeah, popping up a Shrine could be wise.

I'm getting a Granary and establishing my food supply before I start building a shrine. Might be slower but I have a more reliable source of food.

Ah. The lack of key confused me. There's only 2 light green provinces, and they're both near-ish me, and the guys near me don't seem to be the most active bar the guy on the island, but he's a non-entity until he gets sailing.

Hark, how the hell does agriculture work? According to one bit 2 pop can work to produce 3 food on just fertile land, yet upgrading to a farm gives exactly the same yield and thus seems a bit pointless. Unless upgrading to a farm is required to work fertile land, but then why does it say fertile land can be worked at all and with no reference to farms

Also, G, how are you producing 6 food with 3 peeps on farms? You need 4 peeps, 2 per farm, to make 6 food.

No, no, the farm is just the name of the agricultural unit. It costs just 1 raw labor to make a farm. The upgrades will come with industrialization and irrigation. Those 2 will improve food yields.
