That's still a massive number, and I call BS on 90% of them being trained professional forces. An army of that size, being mustered so quickly, would be little more then a massive mob, most of them probably wielding melee weapons such as farming tools, only useful for campaigns within your own territory, and even then, you would see masses of them returning home with the changing of the seasons. Because these would be the people who are the backbone of your economy. Craftsmen, farmers, etc etc.

And as I said before, the military sizes in this rp are ludicrous, including my own. Trust me, my skin crawled when I put down that number, but looking at all the other army sizes it would make sense for a state to have a likewise large force to ward off invasion.

The technology is simply not invented in this time period to have multi-million man professional, standing armies. No nation in this era would be able to afford it or supply it. Even when Napoleon invaded Russia, the Russians were able to muster around 900,000 soldiers, and most of those were militia.

Unopposed rights in Malaysia-The Sicilians control the mainland part and I already control or can I eminently control the piece on Borneo.

I don't, just so you know. In this RP, Japan is dependent on foreign grain (from China and elsewhere) to maintain its army, at least for now. In China, there are maybe a half million professional soldiers, and the rest are conscripts. Most men are provided for by local lords, in both Japan and China, and the local lords are responsible for feeding them. Also, I reduced the Chinese army's size by about a quarter (half of the actives), when western china rebelled.

I am pretty much North America(at least the valuable parts), and cutting trade with you could harm the Phillipines reliance on the New World, while I would still have Sicilian Asia to trade with.

But that's just last resort, I only have a few frigates sloops and a 5th rate in the Pacific so, maybe? I don't know the state of your navy, though I'm guessing probably not that much better.

He's referring to my combined China and Japan. He thinks that if I were to mobilize a million man army, I would collapse, and I agree. A million is excessive without proper preparation.

That doesn't answer anything. The Pirates lie in the Caribbean and still don't have a navy that really beats their rival's.
