What I'd probably do was have the marriage proposed, with an imperial princess (eldest with no sons) marry the shogun, then have the emperor of China die. Or just bring both China and Japan and both lands under the rulers hip of a greater Shogun/Emperor. Not sure yet, but I'm feeling the megalomania that will lead to my destruction.

Pirates don't like slavery, but the Byzantine are in the Caribbean so we Pirates must do what we can to make the Caribbean under the Black Flag. Rouge State or no.

Considering that I'm more of a Rouge State with 11 million people that has a basic economy and trade, slavery is outlawed to the max. Besides, I'm getting money just off this war alone.

Sicily is the only threat I see here, with Byzantium threatened in both the Middle East and in South America, they are facing difficulties.

I've been in talks with Sicily.
And I imagine France will have a significant advantage in terms of force around Normandy for several weeks, no doubt a large French force in the surrounding areas. Where as I imagine the bulk of the British army in not in Normandy, and thus must be mustered from across its empire and then sent to Normandy, by which time a bold and well trained French army could have over run most of Normandy, making landing a force of significant size rather difficult. Not to mention the British must divide their navy, defending their colonies, and as I recall sending ships to fight the American Imperium? So trying to land a large force in Normandy, while being harassed by the French navy.

Not an easy task.
