Shipyards don't do trade. They build and repair ships. PORTS do the trade. Ports are located at Yorktown, Boston, New York, Savannah, Charleston, New Orleans, and a few smaller ones in Florida and Michigan. I think Chicago also has a port. Shipyards are Norfolk, Plymouth, and Annapolis.

We will also internationally declare the intent of the Pact to promote peace in North America, thus offering a not insignificant deterrent against any wars in North America.

effective range (maximum effective range) of a weapon is the furthest distance an effective shot can be taken with reasonable certainty that it will hit. It is determined by a number of factors: type of cartridge fired, inherent precision of the weapon, and volume of fire delivered.
The 12 pdr Gribeuval has than 900m EFR. My guns are at 800m from the city. Ever hear , "Couldn't hit the side of a barn"? Well these guns can.
