You're going to need longer than a decade to build all of that.

Actually no. Building the smaller ships can be done in about a year. It will take two to four years for the larger ships of the line. I have several shipyards in New England. It can be done in a decade.

Should be the bloodiest battle in this war and I haven't decided the actual death and wounded casualty numbers yet. They will be high for both sides.

Shipyards don't do trade. They build and repair ships. PORTS do the trade. Ports are located at Yorktown, Boston, New York, Savannah, Charleston, New Orleans, and a few smaller ones in Florida and Michigan. I think Chicago also has a port. Shipyards are Norfolk, Plymouth, and Annapolis.
