High Primo Jordan Payne, Second of His Name, Defender of the Imperium, Guardian of the Faith, Commander of the Just

High Primo Jordan Payne the II is 15 years-old. And he is the man in charge of the entire American Empire. From coast to coast. He reigns supreme. And unchallenged. His sister, Andrea Payne, Commander of the Imperium Military keeps her younger brother on the throne of the Imperium with an iron fist. He is a just boy though compared to his sister. He is often never in the capital city, unlike most of the members of his government. He is seen riding the country-side on horseback visiting the towns around the capital. Kentucky has become the heart of the nation. As only the wealthy, powerful, and most of all, the Payne family, can live inside Kentucky. And the poor who work the city. But he cares for the poor and often donates from his own bank account to the poor to buy food and clothes that are in desperate shortages in the capital.

J.P he is nicknamed by the common-folk outside of Kentucky. The Just Prince. He is beloved by the nation. Unlike his father and grandfather before him. Both died hated more than the last. But J.P brought order and stability with his rise to the Primoship. The Senatorial Council voted to bring the young boy to the Primoship when the nation fell into Civil Chaos, now known as the Great Schism, when J.Ps Uncle, Michael Payne, rose up in rebellion against his dead brothers position. J.P, only thirteen years old ordered up the Capital Guard, the Gold Guard, and marched out to meet his Uncle in open battle. Horse, men, canons clashed that day outside the capital city. From the capital tower, the people of the capital watched for days and nights as the night sky was lit up by guns. And on the 8th day of battle. From the battlefield marched the Gold Guard with J.P leading in his own tank. The Gold Guard shouted with pride their commanders name. Marshal Andrea arrived 2 weeks late. Her army exhausted and found the battle had been fought. And Jordan had defeated his Uncle. So J.P is young, but a student of war. And a student of history. He knows the Imperium is hurting. And he wants to put the Crown of America back on Lady Liberty's head.
Previous Nation Leader and Description (If recently changed):
(Image)
Jordan Payne, First of His Name, Defender of the Imperium, Guardian of the Faith, Commander of the Just

Jordan Payne the First was the leader of the Imperium before J.P, his son. Jordan Payne the 1st was a cruel man. He did not care for the suffering of his people. When told of the largest city in the Imperium falling to pieces, he chuckled and told the Currier, "Then let the city burn. It smells anyway." Jordan Payne the first was despised by the entire nation. When he died, the country erupted in cheer and celebration. Native Americans had been pressed from their lands and forced to work in the nations mines. But under his policies, the ports flowed with trade. Ships fought for a place to dock. And the cities are overflowing with people as they all fight for jobs. New York and Boston have become hubs for industry. And Baltimore is a major port bringing in all kinds of goods from North and South. The Senatorial Council had been called to answer the regional divide between North and South. The Council demanded the Primoship end its regicide over the Imperium. So the Gold Guard marched into the Senate Council Building and arrested the Senators. Then the army across the Imperium marched across and ended the state governments. When the nation began to rise up in rebellion. The ports closed and Imperium warships stopped all trade. So the merchants abandoned rebellion or faced being ruined. And then the farmers quit when the soldiers were given free reign to eat the farmers crops. The Imperium surrendered to his will. And so his reign was met with great challenge and angry submission to him.

Form of Rule: Military dictatorship
Population: 8,300,000
Military Population (no more than 5% in times of peace): 41,500 (30,000 army/11,500 navy)
Basic History of Nation: The American Imperium was forged in the disaster of the American Revolution. The Thirteen Original Colonies had lost the Battle of Saratoga and the Revolution had all but finally died. So France had not came to join the battle. But a Duke, Duke Louis Payne, Duke of Normandy in France had saw that the U.S was now ripe for the taking. So abandoning France with all his wealth, people, and forming a army and a navy. He abandoned France to her fate and set sail with 100,000 people to Philadelphia.

After a long voyage and losing 1,000 of his people. He landed at Philadelphia only to find the British had seized the American Capital. And the American Congress had abandoned the city for Baltimore. So under the flag of Normandy, the Duke landed his men on the south end of the city. His infantry had formed up into three lines with cavalry supporting their flanks. Another host of cavalry on the rear to fill any gaps and rush any brakes in the line. Behind them, resting on the Freedom Heights, canons had been hauled up the hill and the position fortified. Duke Louis demanded the utter-surrender of Philadelphia and the entire British Regiment under General Arnold. Benedict Arnold, feeling this force would be easy to break. Thinking it was only an American force that had sneaked out to give battle. He ordered his men into assembly. and marched off to face them. So on Freedom Heights, Duke Louis, under the flag of Normandy and America, met the British army for the city. Arnold's men proved brave and tough. But these men were fresh from fighting off Frances enemies in Prussia. So these men were veterans. And from the bay came the support of the Normandy fleet which had forced the British fleet to abandon the city or be bottled up on rocks. So the British army was completely broken and sent fleeing into the city. Arnold, thinking another force had arrived in the North, which was actually just the landing of the remainder of the Normans, surrendered the city and fled. So Philadelphia fell to the Normans who spoke little English and marched into the city. Citizens asked who they were, and the Duke responded, in terrible English, "we are Americans". So they were accepted and cheered as they raised the American flag over the Congress building again. And Congress was invited back to the city. And on return, they found a veteran army who had beaten the British waiting them. Gregory welcomed them home. And offered his services to the Congress. They made him Protector of the City and made him a General. He quickly left the city with his Normandy army and marched to Boston to end the British reign there. Again the British fell. Washington had lost again at Trenton, and then his separate force had been crushed at Princeton. Payne, on the other-hand, was seeing nothing but victory. And when Cornwallis marched North to meet Washington, he found another army waiting for him. Payne's. And with the support of Washington, Gates, and Green, the British army was broken and completely humiliated. The remaining British force were chased out by Payne. And so the Revolution was thought won.

On the eve of victory. Philadelphia was filled with every commander and politician of Congress and so when Independence Hall went up in flames. Duke Louis, was elected President of the United States. And he quickly removed the other remaining leaders and silenced the few left. And on his order, his veteran army of Normans marched out and broke the three remaining armies around Philadelphia. Green was killed leading his men. Gates committed suicide. And Washington had died in the city. So the three armies were crushed with ease. And the states of the Americas were shocked to hear that their nation was now in chaos again. And the states gave all emergency powers to Louis to restore order. As he had made the deaths look like Britain had struck again. And on his last battle, he broke General Clinton and ended the British in the colonies. And on his victory, he proclaimed the United States was to weak to remain a republic. And he made himself King of the American Imperium. Another smaller revolution rose but was quickly crushed by the veteran force. And by loyalists to Louis who had fought for him. So the American Imperium was born.

Basic Summery of Current Situation: Many Americans want the Republic back. Food is short as farms are being rebuilt. The nation is expanding its fingers and building stronger as jobs are in high demand.
Basic Plans for RP: Forge the American Empire.
RP Sample: Rot & Ruin.

Whilst the things mentioned in my edits have been fixed and SPaG has been generally improved (besides talking needing speech marks), I personally still have problems with this, mainly the repeated mentions of Britain 'attacking' or 'colonizing' the America's, in this Alternate History please remember that until recently Britain (or more accurately the Anglo-Kalmar Alliance) has been too worried about keeping its European borders straight to start colonizing or doing anything in the new world at all. Whilst I can't speak for the Eastern Antarctic State, I also feel uncomfortable with the references to Norman soldiers and the Duke of Normandy who features prominently in your nations history. Also, whilst Payne isn't a French surname, it doesn't matter as much, you could merely say that it (for example) was adopted as the European Duke's surname after he started to rule the Imperium.

I don't want to discourage you or anything, merely reminding you that what happened in real life didn't necessarily happen here. All that's need is a few replacements of words, Europeans instead of British, for example.

These are my thoughts anyway.

Their, I gutted most of the historical facts and am going to have to change some ideals now for the plot-wise I had planned to do. But I guess that what had to happen/ I tried to catch every European country by name and change it to Europe and changed Normans to the Dukes men. Or just removed the statement complelty.

Hey, have you ever heard of Japan's invasions of Korea after the sengoku jidai? They almost conquered Korea, but had to withdraw cause of a stalemate. You never know.

*Edit- just looked at your population. I am screwed if I fight you. Also, will defiantly have an app up tonight. I'm working on it now.
Also, also, upon further research, I have discovered that I was off by about 24 million. The actual population was 26 million. Additionally, Gyrenaica, is it ok if the Korean wars still happened?

Nation Name: The Empire of Japan
Nation Claims: All territory that belongs to Japan (islands east of china), the northern Philippines, the various dotted islands around the china sea and west of Japan, the south western parts of Alaska, and the Hawaiian island chain, if it hasn't been claimed yet.
Capital City: Edo (modern Tokyo)
Nation Leader: Tokugawa Idegawa (made up)
Nation Leader Description (History and physically):
History- Tokugawa Idegawa seized power at the age of 19 after the assassination of his uncle Tokugowa Ieyoshi (real guy, changed the dates of his reign) in 1804. The assassination was carried out by supporters of returning power to the Oda clan. Idegawa, being a descendent to varying degrees of Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu, he rode into power over the legitimate heir, who was too young to even know what had happened. He is also a descendent of the famed dueling Daimyo, Uesuegi Kenshin and Takaeda Shingen. His coup occurred after several weak and corrupt shogun had caused much suffering, and he was welcomed by the general populace of Japan.
Physically- Tokugawa Idegawa is physically imposing, standing at an abnormally tall (for his people) 6'1". He has short black hair, and is well muscled, a result of his youth spent training in the way of the samurai. His face is relatively plain, and his nose is of average size. However, he has grown a short beard, against the customs of the time. He is also a skilled swordsman and a skilled strategist, having been trained from an early age, and displaying much innate talent.
Previous Nation Leader and Description (If recently changed): both of these guys were real, and both were bad leaders. I just changed the dates when the ruled.
Tokugawa Ieyoshi (ruled from 1800 until 1804, when he was assassinated)- Ieyoshi tried to fix his fathers (Ienari) mistakes through drastic reform, but they were widely unpopular among both peasant and daimyo alike. He was a physically unremarkable man, below average height and without skill at blade-work or administration. He was assassinated by Oda supporters due to his failure to deal with serious famines, and was replaced by Idegawa.
Tokugawa Ienari (ruled from 1787 until 1800, when he died of heart complications)- Ienari was Ieyoshi's father, and was considered an over-indulger. His reign was punctuated by gluttony, and he had a harem of over 900 women, and he had 75 children by the time he died. Most of those children are dead by the time of Idegawa's succession, except Idegawa's mother, who was Ienari's daughter. Ienari also allowed famine to run rampant throughout his reign, and Edo (Tokyo) burned to the ground once due to his indecisiveness.
Form of Rule: Shogunate/Empire
Population: 30,746,400
Military Population (no more than 5% in times of peace): 950,000 total.
The Shogun maintains a central army of 150,000. This includes a small navy of just over a hundred ships. The rest is comprised of town militias, and the forces of individual daimyos. This does not, however, take into account some 50,000 ronin (samurai without a master), who are technically not a part of any daimyo's forces.
Basic History of Nation: Following the death of Oda Nobunaga, his adoptive son, Toyotomi Hideyoshi seizes power, and completes the unification of Japan. Soon after, Hideyoshi launches two dailed invasions of Korea, with both sides losing over one hundred thousand men. After Hideyoshi's death, Tokugawa Ieyasu founds the Tokugawa Shogunate, which is the current shogunate. Following a series of shogun who failed to properly rule, Tokugawa Idegawa seizes power, and begins to totally overhaul the country. His first step is to modernize Japan's military through trade with China, Korea and the Dutch. His second step is to reissue the samurai laws, which bind all samurai and daimyo to his service. His third step is to overhaul the tax system and the infrastructure of the country, in order to set the stage for standardization. His fourth step was the creation of a ruling council of daimyo that assist him with governance of Japan. His final and most radical act to this point was to open Japan's borders to trade, ending the three hundred year long isolationism. This influx of goods serves to end the famines, and provides commerce for his nation.
Basic Summery of Current Situation: Japan has just been totally reformed in Idegawa's image.
Basic Plans for RP:Newly reunified, and freshly invigorated by new trade and reform, Idegawa and Japan look towards the future and look to claim a place in this new world.
RP Sample: will update soon, I'm on my phone writing this...

Sure, but Korea was backed by china as addition.

Chinas mass-population is one of the few advantages China had around 1815. The untapped trade value of China was also the power that the Qing Dynasty held over China and the rest of the Europeans that wished to tap into that resource. But like Portugal and Britain, the Europeans found their way in through using Opium and forcing the Qings out of cities and founding their own.

The military of the Qings by this time had become a lesser-value as gunpowder was now used by the European nations. And China was not industrialised and quickly losing ground technologically. So Korea, benfitting from having japan and China close could use both to gain what they needed. So Korea provided the technological might the two needed to halt Japan. So, China would win in a war, but only by throwing vast-numbers of people into battle.

An American said during the long trade wars and the Qings attempt to retake their lands:
"For every one Japanese soldier, it would take 50 chinamen to kill him. With a gun. 100 with swords and knives. China can win a land war. At sea, Japan would bring Chinas trade to its knees."

That quote at the end likely refers to the Sino-Japanese wars, which were radically different from the Korean invasions. During the Korean invasions, Japan had almost no navy, but won almost every land battle. This resulted in a stalemate, as Japan could not reinforce their forces, and Korea/China couldn't dislodge the Japanese armies. The war was fought between the Korean Joseung dynasty with Chinese support, and Japanese under Tokugawa Ieyasu.
