Bio: ‘Heping’, an assumed name as far as she can remember, is by day a technical researcher/innovator for SINOPEC MC. There, she works to improve on mechanical limb control and interface. She has a private lab, and is (technically) under High Technician Yung, but he does not believe in the idea of 'direct supervision'.

By night, she is a mole for OPERATION RELIQUIAE, and leaks as much details as is helpful without putting her at risk. Her contact is, as far as she knows, a Frenchman with a rather atrocious accent, and may work at Helvetica.

At twilight, however, she is her own person (human being rather a more specific word) and gives birth to her own children. The way this works is simple: another child brings fresh meat to her table each night, and by the morning they are integrated into the family. Where these subjects come from even she does not know, nor does she really care. All people are welcome at her table, and her children are ever so appreciative of her ministering to them.

Unfortunately enough, people are beginning to notice the change caused by the operation, particularly on those who were once dead. Not only are they alive once more, but they are more like a relatively cheap CAIT than a real person. This is because Heping is not finished. Her end goal is to be able to bring new life out of death, a true sentience rather than the lower-level obedience.

True, she could merely use a PPsyC for this process, but Heping has not escaped the main bane of every innovator: pride. She thinks that the PPsyC process is crude, creating only a copy. She intends to bring a new thing into the world, and does not particularly care how.

While the living who are enhanced are usually more life-like, there are sufficient reanimated who are beginning to flag on significant peoples’ radar.

Bio: Eric Heckler was born in London, United Kingdom in the year 2103 by an Austrian Father and an English mother. His childhood and indeed his young adult life is nothing of particular interest, with his only exception him being exceptionally bright. His father was a drunkard, and just as easily squandered his income on cheap whisky and vodka. So it was to no surprise that he was a mama's boy, something that his school mates teased him endlessly, but none the less true. His mother pampered him with the little luxuries that they can afford. Of course you can argue that it may have socially stunted him, his classmates in secondary school noted his quiet demeanor and his reclusive nature.

As a young man, he was accepted to the University of Oxford, with the dream of being a neurosurgeon and perhaps move to America and go to John Hopkins or its equivalent so that he can be successful like his idol, Ben Carson. Although that never occurred, he would eventually tack on the newly established major of Quantum Computing. It was in this hectic lifestyle that his mother developed cancer, something that tore him up.He watched with abject horror as his mother's health quickly worsened as she was eaten from the inside, with her awareness of the situation making all that much worse. It made no sense to Heckler,why she needed to suffer and die when it was apparent that the cancer was in her ovaries. But alas, the brain didn't care that only the body was dying. Her body died, along with her soul.

After a few years in his mid thirties he was contacted to work with a bunch of other gifted minds, with one goal in mind: the transferring of the conscious to a server. It was something that he always dreamed and finally he might be able to save other loved ones. For the next a decade and then some, a small group of dedicated and well funded scientists worked to make brain- uploading a reality. Heckler's research mainly focused on one rather gargantuan problem: in trials the conscious would merely copy. The conscious was merely being copied like a compute file and destroyed the original, thus it meant the person was not free from death. A transfer was necessary, not a copying. In the spring of 2149, Heckler was able to design the Synthetic Conversion Process (SCP) which finally allowed people to stored in a server. In a matter of months breakthrough after breakthrough came into light, and in 2150 the PPsyD was finally refined and showed to the public.

Award after award, contract after contract was bestowed to the team. They shattered the idea of Mortality, and the world would never be the same. Indeed Heckler looked back at that time, and he could see the rise of the MNC. Companies flocked for everyone in the research team, and Heckler became a millionaire overnight. Heckler's first contract was the use of actual humans and allow the PPsyD to transfer between bodies. This was the first time he was the head researcher, and he enjoyed every moment of it. He was finally able to say something was his his, and within a few short years he unveiled the ability to transfer consciousness between bodies, destroying any idea of 'illusive beauty'. He let his company deal with the backlash, he was busy heading in Russia.

His time in Russia, confirmed what he had been debating philosophically in his mind for some time. For the majority of his life he had been a major proponent of Capitalism and in his youth he enjoyed learning about late 19th century Captains of Industries. However during his PPsyD research days, he got into the teachings of Friedrich Nietzsche and late 21th century thinker Edmund Gonzalez . He noted the the fundamental failures of the human condition, we were short sided, debauchery was coveted, and greed was place above all else. Indeed looking out of the Kremlin, he could see the development of feudalism occurring once again. Humans by their nature were weak willed, for humanity to truly advance a core of the most educated and gifted people of our world will need to be allowed to lead. Similar to Plato's dream of Philosopher Kings, but Heckler wanted to take it once step further. He would use the PPsyD to merge the consciousness of the 'talented ten' with the deletion of individuality and emotion. They needed to be detached from the rest, and needed to lead the world without personal views and ulterior motives. He worked with glee in Russia but in the end it proved to only be an experiment, the Russian Leaders were too short sighted. They couldn't see his Utopian future and thus allowed the retention of individuals and established a dictatorship. He left before they could successfully retain him.

Now going by the alias of Nathaniel Koch, he plays the part of aloof but well-meaning socialite, with more money then he could do with. Most don't remember Eric Heckler any more and Koch stays in the shadows wishing for the ability to create 'peace.'
