Gender, Sex, and Sexuality: Biologically female but Pierre identifies as a heterosexual male.

Personality: Brave honest and chivalric, Pierre believes strongly in his duty to protect the weak and defend the innocent, merrily casting away any sense of self-preservation to do so. Duty aside Pierre is a jovial and curious fellow, the modern world and its inhabitants proving to be a constant source of fascination to him. The only thing that reigns him in is his belief that he is only temporarily inhabiting the body of his descendant, Emilie Cortagne, and is reluctant to see her come to harm. Perhaps his greatest flaws are a weakness for wine, merriment and beautiful maidens, any of the three being able to distract him at the most inopportune moments.

Skills: Pierre’s most trusted and honed skill is his proficiency with his weapon of choice, a large, two handed plasma sword. This skill is actually the product of Emilie’s passion and talent for historical fencing. Pierre is also proficient with a wide range of melee weapons and casually acquainted with more modern armaments, he refuses to use projectile weapons of any sort against human opponents, believing it to be unchivalrous but has no problem employing them against the wide variety of “armoured beasts” that roam the modern world. Pierre is also a surprisingly cunning tactician and on the rare occasions his duties carry him into larger scale battles he can acquit himself well.
Besides fighting, Pierre is surprisingly charming, as long as his strange behaviour doesn’t unnerve people and is quite capable of talking people around or inspiring them to acts of bravery.
He also fancies himself a poet. Nobody else does.

Bio: Emilie Cortaine was born to a very comfortable life, her parents both attaining relatively high positions within Helvetica Inc. and the young Emilie never wanted for anything. However she was never entirely comfortable with her family’s wealth. Although she tried not to think about Emilie was secretly aware of the gross inequality that dominated society and the suffering her comfortable life was built on. However Emilie was a bookish and timid girl so she never went down the route of becoming some sort of revolutionary or outspoken critic, instead preferring to bury herself in books and study of all sorts, especially history. In the richness and nostalgia of the past she found a welcome salvation from her unsatisfying and hypocritical life. She studied medieval history at a notable university and even took up historical fencing as a hobby, a sport she found herself surprisingly suited to, perhaps a gift from a long lineage of proud knights.
But Emilie’s chief project and her great dream was the study of her own ancestry. Eventually she became particularly fascinated with the character of Pierre Francois D’Cortagne, a minor knight of the early 14th century. Pierre had been knighted for bravery in battle and afterwards became something of a legend, supposedly travelling the country and righting wrongs and protecting the lower classes, eventually running afoul of the ruling classes when he duelled and killed a count who had been oppressing his subjects. Emilie decided her great work would be an autobiography of this man and was well into the project when she died.
Well sort of. Always a man of nervous disposition, a recent spurt of assassinations targeting not the unreachable upper echelons of Helvetica but comparatively less protected middle management left him convinced Emilie’s father the he and his family would be next. Therefore he undertook the absurdly expensive project of PPsyD backups of his entire family as well as genetically enhanced back up bodies. The project required the mortgaging of his house as well as the cashing in of almost every favour Mr. Cortaine had ever earned during his long career. Although she was somewhat reluctant to undergo such a procedure, Emilie eventually decided humouring her father would be easier than talking him out if this plan and allowed herself to be copied.
In the end Emilie’s Father was vindicated. While attending a company function the restaurant they were dining in was stormed by a local anti MC group and everyone affiliated with the company was gunned down. Of course with their PPsyD data safely stored the Cortaine family were able to easily restore themselves to life.
Well sort of. There had been one flaw in Mr. Cortaine’s big plan. Despite being able to obtain high quality, military grade back up bodies from the a contact in Helvetica’s security division Mr. Cortaine was unable to obtain clearance for a high level Psy-bank, these being restricted to the company’s upper echelons. Instead the Cortaines had to turn to a less reputable, less reliable underground Psy-bank. To cut costs this bank had somewhat underdeveloped security protocols and an attack by a hacker group was able to infiltrate their system and corrupt much of their data.
Including Emilie’s. Much of her memories and personality data was destroyed and confused with the knowledge she had gained researching her ancestor. When Emilie was revived she believed herself to be not Emilie Cortaine but Pierre Francois D’Cortagne. Extremely disoriented, Emilie/Pierre was immediately thrust into peril once more. Her data wasn’t the only data to have been corrupted, in fact her parents had been so heavily damaged as to be unrecoverable. Reasoning that they had better chance of covering up the whole thing if nobody survived at all they attempted to eliminate Emilie as well, fortunately her talent for fencing seemed to be intact and a nearby length of metal pipe allowed her to fend off her attackers and flee. Extremely confused, Emilie, or Pierre, wandered the lower class sections of the city of Calais, horrified at the dystopic conditions around her. Eventually Pierre’s sense of justice bubbled to the surface and landed her in hot water when he attempted to stop a law enforcement officer from assaulting a pair of shoplifting officials. A judicious application of metal force to the officer in question subdued him handily but the reinforcements he called in were another question altogether. Surrounded and about to be gunned down, Emilie/Pierre was saved by the timely arrival of a Knight of the Scale, who defeated the officer and helped them escape.
Aware of who Emilie was thanks to a news report, the knight attempted to explain her situation to her but the damage to her PPsyD proved too extensive and the result was rather garbled. “Pierre” eventually accepted that “he” was in the future, but refused to believe he was really Emilie, instead proposing that God had sent his spirit through time to occupy the body of his descendant to pursue a holy mission of justice.
Realising that he had not hope of talking sense into her, the knight instead took Emilie under his wing, realising that her odd convictions could at least do some good in the world.

Equipment, Weapons, and Vehicles: Plasma sword: Long and unwieldy even by the knights of the scale’s standards, Emilie/Pierre nevertheless wields her chosen weapon with skill and flair. Pierre was never able to become fully comfortable with the force field rings the knights typically use so this functionality was built into the sword, allowing it to protect Emilie form ranged fire to some extent.
Crusader armour: Emilie’s armour is a slightly antiquated model that provides less protection but is also less heavy and restricting.
Genetic enhancements: The backup bodies Emilie’s Father acquitted for his family were high grade military models and provide modest improvements to speed, strength, stamina and agility.
Hoverbike: Affectionately named Valiant after Pierre’s old warhorse, Emilie’s hover bike is an agile and reliable means of transportation.

Grey's usual attire consist of a PCA ( Personal Combat Assistant ) which is essentially an advanced operating system attached to a set of headgear and full body armor. The armor itself can survive a grenade blast and is nearly immune to blunt force weapons. Grey tends to wear combat leggings and camouflage layers over the body armor.

Personality: A bit icy from the exterior, though most of her clothing covers that up anyway. On the inside she is still relatively icy and likes to keep away from forming a relationship of anykind with other people since a job went wrong a year ago. But if you drill through that ice you will find someone who is actually a good person. She finds the ocassional good joke funny, she's caring even. But since that job went wrong she has changed, some say for the worst. But in her eyes, it was for the best. It was why she is now a isolated person, she can no longer trust, care or otherwise love. A dangerous combination when she must work with someone. But when something needs done she does it. No matter how much she hates it. She trys to find the best or worse in everyone and tries to use that to get an edge in any situation.

Skills: A masterful Marksman due to her eye sight, math abilities and general experience. She could take the wings off a small drone at a mile given the time to do so. She's also good with a Knife.

Bio: I won't lie to you, she's had a rough time in life. She was born in Berlin, Germany. Today a sprawling super city with a population number that is extremely high. She was born into the upper lower class family that could pay the bills for sure. But his father when she was 15 was killed, shot for getting to much attention. He was a political activist in his spare time. From what she knows, the people he was protesting against were a big crime syndicate. After uncovering a few data archives in the computer he left him when she turned 20, Josephine found a series of video logs he wrote for her if this were to ever happen. Slowly she uncovered why he died and who did it. But it is still fuzzy, still she trys to find out in vain as life goes on.

When Josephine was 24 she went into the Middle Class business. She quickly became a great asset to a PMC and they invested in her with genetic modifications. Better eye sight, better math skills. This made her a masterful Marksman. Then at age 29 she left the PMC and used the money she earned to get equipment to go into business herself and to fund her search for her father's killers. From there she earned a reputation of sorts, jobs came in and she did them without question until one day. That day she lost someone and almost hurt a family member. She looks back on that day even now and it has changed her since.

- A RS-M6. Rail Sniper rifle with a muzzle velocity that exceeds Mach 6 firing a small projectile. Can be powered down more to fire at different but slower speeds.

- A CM9. A generic 9mm pistol used just incase something goes wrong. But is unreliable to her and sometimes does not even work requiring almost daily maintenance. She still keeps it around for some reason though.

- A Energy blade about as big as your hand from where it is held to the point of the blade. Can slice through even the best body armor.

They tried to get Kaine to go quietly but he would have none of it. using his genetic modifications he killed the first two guards with their own weapons and stabbed another to death. He was then restrained, but rather then being forced to accept the memories of another man, Helvetica offered him a job. Being a high functioning sociopath, and genetically modified, he rose through the ranks quickly, and became imperative to corporate success in London. After gaining enough funds, he began to give himself Bionic Modification.
