"Well, me and Voi here nearby, if Xavier need our help, Raphael". "Mair starts to walk back to Voi and turns to Raphael again. "Raphael "if you do need to talk about her"....., "I'm ready anytime you need it". Mair walks back to Voi.

Patriah decided to ask someone about his own suspicions. Being something of a pessimist, he knew whatever was happening to Xavier had to be nothing less than evil. Walking over to Mair, he whispered, "Hey, let's go talk for a minute. I wanna ask you something."

Mair stop walking and turns to him. "Uhh, sure Patriah, about what"?

"I'm fine, it's just...I'm worried for...you know..." She nodded to Xavier, who stared at her, blankly.

Nyx didn't move much, simply recieving the hug with acknowledgement. It almost reminded her of when Hyperion would hug her. Almost. It would never be the same, no hug from anyone could compare. It was only when he hugged her that she realized how much she'd so desperately depended on him, and now that he was gone...she was a wreck. She couldn't catch her footing, couldn't return to normal, not now. She noticed the moonrock and it's entitled message, and she could only feel bitter about it. Her grief had beyond twisted her mind, but surely that would change in time. More than anything, though, she had to figure out what to do with herself. What to do to survive.
Maybe even what she could do to get him back.

He looked into her eyes. "Don't... Don't let grief control your actions. Just...don't. Trust me, nothing good comes from it." He said. If she were to look into his eyes she would see his hate, anger, sadness, grief, pain, and suffering. She would know that deep inside he is broken. Everything he says and does is just a mask, a disquise, over the person he really is. It would be obvious that he is afraid. Afraid of himself.

A hard look crossed Nyx's face, her brow furrowing. She could see what he was feeling, hear it deep down inside of him. Her dark domain could tell her that to some extents, and the rest she simply knew on her own. She'd experienced that feeling, that horrific concoction of emotions that she'd dealt with for as long as she could remember. Except...heartbreak. No one wanted to date a dark goddess, it wasn't a surprise. Hyperion was the first person to actually try and succeed. It only hurt more to think of it. "I never said I would. It's hard, I know...but I still have my morals, I still have my sanity." She justified herself, her eyes drifting to her rose, her eyes softening again. Her lip quivered, but only for a moment, and the shadowy walls fell. "This was the last thing he ever gave to me." She said quietly.

He put his arms around her waist tightly, and took off, looking upwards. His stringy black hair got in his eyes.

She held him tightly and closed her eyes. She didn't want to fall.

Swooping low, he allowed them to go into free-fall, tightening his hold on her as he pulled sharply out of the dive.

Raphael nods... And then tenses. Armor forms around him and the Spear appears. "Somethings coming..." he says, then smiles at Hamiri. "Probably a snake."

He nodded. "Once we beat Apophis, we should use them then," he suggested. As he spoke, however, he heard a snake hissing nearby. Alarmed, he drew his sword. Apophis. He's close..."

Xavier drew his staff, and Hamiri drew her sword, as both heard the sound.

"IT'S OKAY!" he shouted over the wind. "I GOT YOU." He begins to flap his wings rapidly and they ascend.

She continued to tremble, tightening her hold.

He alighted back on their branch, shirt sticking to him slightly. "Whew," he said, folding in his wings.

Meire was holding his soulstone when it finally shattered. His eyes widened in fear as his body slowly and painfully crumbled into dust. It was so painful he couldn't even Make a sound.
