He was about to say, but its color changed to a bright red and sizzling can be heard. After forcing a smile through the pain he answered. "It's to prevent me from... Nevermind" He pulled out a handkerchief and handed it to her. "You should wipe your tears."

Nyx took the handkerchief, using it to wipe the tears from her eyes. "..thanks." She sniffled. She could finally feel the lump in her throat fading, feeling worn and tired from all her crying. It was horrible--she couldn't recall the last time she had been truly exhausted, let alone cry. Her heart felt like a little shard of glass; something that was once full of beauty and life was now broken and in shambles. Useless. It felt like at one point she had been flying ten thousand feet above the ground, and suddenly she dive-bombed for the ground, hitting it with a devastating blow. That's what it felt like--like she was scattered into a million different pieces, never to be repaired. It simply...didn't work that way with her heart. Where she was once caring and compassionate was now a desolate emotionless landscape.

"No", Voi thought as he was thinking about Ionia. "I should be thinking about her not now". Voi looks at the shadow box. I'm not in pain right now. Voi notices a rock near the box. Should I? Voi thought to himself. The rock rolled over to him and he picked it up. Voi sighs she need friends right now. Voi turns the rock into a moonstone writes a message on it and opens a small spirit portal into the box and it drops in in. And the moonstone floats next to Nyx.

Nyx didn't move much, simply recieving the hug with acknowledgement. It almost reminded her of when Hyperion would hug her. Almost. It would never be the same, no hug from anyone could compare. It was only when he hugged her that she realized how much she'd so desperately depended on him, and now that he was gone...she was a wreck. She couldn't catch her footing, couldn't return to normal, not now. She noticed the moonrock and it's entitled message, and she could only feel bitter about it. Her grief had beyond twisted her mind, but surely that would change in time. More than anything, though, she had to figure out what to do with herself. What to do to survive.
Maybe even what she could do to get him back.

If she were to look into his eyes she would see his hate, anger, sadness, grief, pain, and suffering. She would know that deep inside he is broken. Everything he says and does is just a mask, a disquise, over the person he really is. It would be obvious that he is afraid. Afraid of himself.
