Nyx continued to laugh as they conjured up the spell around her, her shadows striking out at the runes even if it didn't aid her. When the circle had been completed, however, she let out a shriek, falling back to the ground and breaking out into another twitching fit. The shadows around her hissed and screamed, dispersing down into the ground or fading back into the goddesses figure, the dark aura she had put off disappating. Her black hair was no longer undefinable, the tears running from her eyes glistening and clear once again. The shadows in the area gave one last withering hiss before returning to their natural positions along the walls or the like. Now, there was only Nyx, curled up in a ball, twitching occasionally and her breathing shaky. There wasn't a worse feeling than gaining all of that power, all that evil that wound attach itself to your soul, and then have it ripped out of you. It wasn't great, but it was a relief to have control over her morals again, to not have them be overruled by evil.

Voi's hands return to normal and Voi takes a sigh of relief. "It worked", Voi walks over to her and offers to help her up.

And with a single stroke, she both brought down Thanatos and ensured her usefulness.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before! without Death, my fellow deities cannot die! We are invincible! Thank you Death, for so willing surrendering yourself to me. Fool.

Loki felt the cold metal touch his skin, and lifted his head.

"I go where I please, brother. Or should I even call you that?"

"I care about him. No matter how many times he tries to kill me, family is family and you can't do anything about it." He picks up his hammer, "You're beautiful and I doubt he will give you up without a fight. That is what will bring him back to our side. Although, I still have my doubts given his past."
