"Mason, Amaterasu was corrupted and not herself and you attacked Ryujin because of your curse and you were already wounded". Mair said was she walked to Mason. "Remember that Mason".

Lux smiled brightly. "We merely have to be prepared to fight, now...we must find-out what that book says, and then we will defeat Thanakron, and you and Raphael and Otohime and everyone will return," he replied, faithfully.

"Hm...probably not then. I can only read Japanese and Mandarin personally. If you haven't seen the stuff, it probably won't work. For now though," he summons a platter with a whale-patty burger on it, "Welcome to Holy High."

Just assume you can't read it then, none of us can lol. We've got no clue what it is either tbh.

Anazel nodded at Ryujin; "Appreciate the welcome Ryujin, I think I'm gonna like it here"

"Don't mention it," he hands him the patty, "That's whale meat, it'll keep you going all day," He's about to leave, but turns around, "And it really is a nice place when we're not killing bad guys and each other. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go to bed." He flashes a smile, then transforms into a baby dragon before fluttering off.

Lux looked down at Inari, who had been watching in silent awe the whole time. He knelt down and hugged her, and couldn't recall feeling this confident about anything ever. "Inari...please...stay by my side...things might get hard, but I promise you...I will make sure nobody hurts you ever again. I will defend you, and we will win this fight..." he declared, serenely.

[Skyline United]

"Inari...please...stay by my side...things might get hard, but I promise you...I will make sure nobody hurts you ever again. I will defend you, and we will win this fight..." he declared, serenely.

She wraps her arms around the back of his neck and softly presses her lips against his. After about two minutes she pulls away and says, "I will stay, and I trust you."

Nyx's eyes brightened at his suggestion. She'd only ever seen the structure during her night, back when all she'd do was look down and admire everything man had built. She'd never seen it in person; not up close. She hadn't seen much up close and personal.

He took her hand and started to walk towards the structure. Along the way, they stopped for ice cream because Lance couldn't resist. He loves cold and sweet foods. Primarily because they're impossible to find in Hell.

Nyx gets herself a dark chocolate ice cream cone, not having such a taste for anything like vanilla or mint. She loved the dark, heavy tastes, much to match her persona. It wasn't that she wouldn't eat vanilla or anything...she simply didn't like them. She didn't mind it all that much, though. It only made the heavy and thick desserts taste better rather than bitter.

They continue walking towards the massive structure. Along the way they notice several ancient buildings. Lance still marveled at the architecture of the city. It was far more advanced than any other civilization from its time.

He blushed fiercely, not expecting her to do that, but as he blushed he chuckled. "Thank you...now, let us go join the others..." He then stood and picked up Raphael's body, keeping it warm with his light. He then turned and gazed at Raguel. "Will you come with us?"

Raguel was looking at the sky, and looks back at Uriel. In a few minutes...

He nodded, and saw the thoughtful expression on his face. "...Is something the matter?" he asked.

[Luminesa]

"I was possessed and I used the darkness to corrupt Amaterasu," he clarified.

"Oh...well that's...kind of scary. How'd she get out of that? Did you just let her escape or..."

He nodded. "My brother broke me out of my possession and he and the group saved her," he answered.

[Charlia]

Patriah had followed Charlotte up through the portal, to the Death God's realm. When she had landed, he had landed only a few feet behind her, the gust from his wings signaling his presence.

She turned and stared at him coldly, a spark of anger in her eyes.

"Why are you here?"
