The government is fairly conservative, having a strong central government, and a strong president. Chile is very much pro-Iberia and supports the crown in almost every aspect.

The booming Chilean economy, has attracted a considerate amount of foreign investment, especially into ports in the south-central area. Chile's main trading partners are Iberia, and the Andes, who themselves are seeing investments by Chileans. With the silver rush, immigrants have also been poured into Chile calling for greater governmental involvement into conquering the Patagonia, which is rumored to be full of resources. Governmental spending however has been left unchecked, and as the country attempts to completely overshadow her neighbors, the government has largely ignored her budget and spends as much as it desires.
Infrastructure: Whilst infrastructure is left largely for a department to cover, the Chilean government has been increasing its role in funding public projects. The construction of canals, and establishment of government supervised roads have made travel easier in the nation. The only paved roads in the nation are cobblestone and those only include some major cities. A 10 kilometer railway has been approved for construction in Valparaiso.

Military Information: Mexico holds a large territory, and as such, its army is comprised in three different formations: an elite core of Guards to be stationed at important urban centres, a large number of regular infantry to be located at strategic points or important thoroughfares, and a large number of irregular infantry based around the wild frontiers of the nation. The army receives the bulk of the military funding, although the navy is currently being expanded.
Army Size: ca. 140,000 men in total. Around 20,000 are elite Guards, the core of the army. 40,000 are regular infantry. The remainder are largely disorganised guerillas.
Navy Size: Quite small. The navy operates a single ship of the line, the European-built El Tridente, which is also the flagship. The fleet is based in the large port of Veracruz, leading to the Gulf of Mexico. Three sixth-rates are being built in Tampico, two to be given to the Gulf Fleet and the other one to serve as the flagship of the new Pacific Fleet, to be stationed in Acapulco.

Economic Policy: Interventionism
Economic Situation: Mexico's economy is based around two focal areas: mining and farming. From the mines of Guanajuato and Zacatecas, hoards of silver are extracted which provide ample cash reserves for the government, which has recently gone into debt spending on lavish public projects spurred by the young emperor. From the large hacendado farms, Cacao (chocolate), Coffee, and other local plants are grown and cultivated for export to Europe and Columbia. This also produces some money. Nevertheless, the absence of large and productive foodstuff farms has led the country to import large amounts of food to feed its growing population.
Infrastructure: Important urban centres are linked by roads in good state. Given the size of the nation, other roads are usually in a worse condition, if they are in good repair at all. Most roads in the country, of course, are in such a state.

Currency: The Mexican Peso (Peso mexicano)

History: Mexico obtained independence from Iberia in 1815, which has yet to be recognized, although, de facto, Mexico is wholly independent. It obtained independence in 1815 as the First Mexican Empire, under Guadalupe Victoria, a popular leader who had led the Insurgent movement from the death of Miguel Hidalgo until he decisively defeated the Loyalist forces of Félix Calleja in the Battle of Pachuca in 1814. Guadalupe Victoria, born José Miguel Ramón Adaucto Fernández y Félix, was crowned in Mexico City’s Cathedral in 1814 as Emperor Guadalupe I and the ruler of an independent Constitutional Monarchy.

However, Congress declared the Monarchy unconstitutional in 1817 as it developed the Mexican constitution. Guadalupe I was thus relieved of his title. In 1821, however, he was elected by and large as the country’s first president, serving a short term from 1821 to 1824. He was succeeded by his fellow insurgent leader, Vicente Guerrero, with whom he had great friendship.The presidency continued to be passed on in terms of six years. It was in this decade when the first Mexican political parties began to be developed: first rose the Partido Democrático Mexicano (Mexican Democratic Party), a Catholic and conservative party that obtained widespread support. Against it rose the Partido de Mexicanos Liberales (Liberal Mexicans’ Party). For many years, the parties wrestled for control of parliament, although the Partido Democrático enjoyed successive tenures of the presidency.

The Democratic party had excellent intentions. It immediately appealed to the needs of peasants and indians, redistributing many of the massive latifundios owned by wealthy landowners, especially in the poor and rural south, where the growth of urban centers in Chilpancingo and Morelia were encouraged. Ports such as Acapulco and Vallarta grew rapidly as commerce with Asia, particularly the Song, flourished. La Nao de la China, the name for ships bringing Chinese goods into Mexico, grew rapidly — Tea became a major import in Mexico, followed by Chinese apparel and decorations. All of these are currently in style among the higher Mexican strata, as well as French and English trends. Such Trade was fostered by the Mexican Democrats, who lowered tariffs greatly. Machinery was imported from England and Belgium in massive quantities, while Columbian-made rifles began to be fielded by the Mexican military.

As would be expected, all of this made the country go into great debt with Iberian, British, and French banks. The Persian Empire is an incredibly diverse country with countless ethnicities. Although the government only favors the large ones, mainly Persian, and Kurd, Arab, and Baloch people are also largely accepted, but many of the other small cultures aren't accepted.

Persian, as well as many other local languages, and influences from other countries, such as Turkic.
Religion:
The majority religion is Shia Islam, with Sunni Islam containing a large percentage as well.

The Mamlukes, and the United Emirates of Aden, due to them being fellow Muslims, and hold a lot of influence over.
Friendly:
Morocco, and Byzantium, due to being a fellow Muslim, and due to having a shared enemy in Rum.

Much of Central Asia, especially Khiva, due to them wanting to conquer them.
Neutral:
Towards many of the European Powers, and the rest of the world.
Unfriendly:
Great Britain, the Sultanate of Rum, Great Britain due to their colonialism of Asia, and scared they are next.

Russia, due to them having invaded Persia many times in the early 19th century.

The Persian Army isn't as modernized as most Europeans, and quite low quality, however, a modernization program is being discussed, and will bring about many modern innovations.

Economic Policy:
Most of the trade in Persia is based off Free Trade, and slave trade isn't uncommon, as well with many merchants going through Persia to get to India, putting small taxes on them allows Persia a quite significant amount of income. They are also selling the many silks of the nation to these traveling merchants. But as the trade isn't watched it can cause some crime such as extortion, bribery, etc.
Economic Situation:
The national coffers of Persia are quite full with gold. However, there is an extreme income difference, with very rich royals and merchants having very exorbitant things, while many people are barely able to afford to buy food.
This is causing a lot of resentments among the peasantry, and middle class. Imagine what happened to the Russian Empire. They wish to topple the autocratic government and install a democracy.
Infrastructure:
There is actually quite a lot of infrastructure in the major cities such as Tehran, and they are quite modernized as well, but else where especially the deserts, there is no modern infastructure. Most people live in huts, in small villages.

The primary imports of Persia involve food, and other similar items.
The primary exports of Persia involve Silk and it's assorted products, as well as other luxury goods.

History:
The current Persian Empire was born when Mohammad Khan Qajar, in 1779, after the death of Karim Khan, staged took over Iran and declared the Qajar Dyanasty of Persia. And declared himself as Shahahshah Mohammad Khan Qajar. He would unite Persia as he conquered all the major cities in Iran. After he took over power, he turned to Georgia, and the other Cacasus countries, and invaded them, bringing them back into Iran.
However, Russia also claimed these areas, and so invaded Persia a few years later. Taking Georgia, and a large part of Azerbaijan, before Persian troops in the mountains stopped them. After this they realized, an alliance with the Mamluks would be beneficial, and would deter the Russians if they invaded again. However, due to them allying the Mamluks, it caused very poor relations with Rum, who became very unfriendly. This would lead to the modern day of Persia, with Mohammad Shah Qajar as Shah of the Sublime State of Persia.

Have average standards of recruitment and can be considered "average" when compared to other nation's forces.

Exército Real-

Garrisoned in Terras Reais, Terra de Joao, and Terras Real Norte (OTL South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina), 10,000 men, 1,000 horses, 300 cannon are detailed to them. This army get the fancy dress uniforms and performs ceremonial duties, but is considered the "easiest" of posts to hold, as they are rarely called upon to act outside of ceremonies.

Garrisoned in the Western Provinces, this Army is detailed 10,000 men, 2,000 horses, and 300 cannon. They can be considered the most active of the groups, as the Western provinces are still being settled by Hesperians, a situation that the local Native Americans are not happy about in the least. Involved in territorial disputes with tribes that resort to violence, protecting settler's homesteads, and keeping the peace on the frontiers.

Economic Policy: Economic policy is driven mostly by the Crown, who has tried to incentivized the building of textile mills and the building of industry other than agriculture through direct subsidies. Most revenue is derived from export tariffs and taxation on commerce, with only a minority coming from direct taxes on person income or property.
Economic Situation: The Union currently sustains itself off of a very healthy plantation economy. The plantations produce cash crops for export or grain for consumption, using the sharecropper system after the end of indentured servitude and slavery under Edward II. Most manufactured goods are either produced by local artisans and craftsmen or are imported from the more industrialized powers of Europe.
Infrastructure: Paths are cleared and maintained, though few are paved to any extent outside of the larger cities.

History:
1580: King Henry of Portugal dies, leaving behind a vacant throne with three claimants, Infante Catarina, Antonio of Crato, and Phillp II of Spain. The Spanish monarch was quick to press his claim on the Portuguese crown, and won quite handily, though he did not manage to capture the dethroned King Antonio.
1581: After a harsh voyage, Antonio and his retinue make landfall in what would become Novos Começos, settling the immediate area and sending word back to those in Lisbon who still supported Antonio that they could leave for the New World safely.
1585: Antonio dies of syphilis, and leaves the colony to his son, Joao. By this time, the colony had grown beyond the original bounds of Novos Começos. The Hesperian colony had spread out to take advantage of the fertile soil of the New World.
1600: Twentieth anniversary of the settlement of Novos Começos, census conducted found that around 1,000 settlers now lived in the colony, in addition to another 1000 "civilized natives," and 250 African slaves.
1650: Joao dies of fever, his son Henry inherits the "throne" of Hesperia, and the census conducted found that around 2,500 settlers now lived in the colony and held most of Terras Reais as their own, though most still live along the coast.
1660:A brief war with the Creek sees Terra de Joao claimed by Hesperia.
1704: Henry dies, his son also named Henry inherits. Hesperia had grown tremendously, adding Terras Real Norte in addition to Terra de Joao.
1725: A wave of Portuguese immigration begins from Iberia.
1743: Immigration wave ends and due to the large surplus workforce slavery and indentured servitude end, and are replaced by a system where plantation workers plant and work the fields in exchange for a share of crop.
1780: Two century anniversary of the now emerging Union.
1790: Death of Henry II, addition of Costa Norte, Montanhas Norte into the Union as provinces.
1800: Another wave of immigration, and the Western Provinces are added into the Union officially.
1835: Immigration wave subsides, and we reach the current date.
