She could have been in deep space and not have cared. Just the two of them together, in each other's arms, could move mountains. She shuddered when she realised the truth behind that statement. They could literally move mountains, because of the power they wielded. That was what made their love that little more poignant-and dangerous. "Everything." She smiled up at Khronos, "We prevent a war, we get your people a home and we get ourselves an heir. And we look really, really good doing it."

Khronos lifted her up as she drifted to sleep, letting her words sink in; they were true. That is exactly what they would do. Khronos put her into bed, and laid down next to her, holding her as she slept. He pulled the blankets over them. Comforting her in her sleep, being there to fight the nightmares away if they came.
Meanwhile... Lyson found out about the wedding. Disgusting. Lyson decided it was time to strike. He'd strike at the wedding - he'd kill the Imperator for his disgusting betrayal, the xenos; all of them! And then he would lead the Taari people to victory in crushing yet another xeno danger to them. He smiled pridefully. That is how things would happen, he would make sure of it. Lyson growled as he loaded his weapon... the wedding was in two weeks, and he couldn't wait for that day to come...for entirely different reasons to the Imperator.
