It's just you're aiming for a ship moving through time at a different rate to you and that means that blast weapons are fairly bad. Outside a few thousand kilometers range, the energy dissipates too much to do much more than scratch the paint. That's why direct-fire LASERs and KEWs are still an option.

Technically speaking, no. The Highbreed DNA, even the smallest sample, always shifts and changes back to 'default' until it infects something. And if it infects something, it forms a Highbreed and connects to the Prime Allmind. Even if you stopped that from happening, the new separated Highbreed would eventually form a new Allmind, which is a hideous combination of "all minds" it infects - meaning Ashur and any other lifeforms it infects. Except the new Allmind's consciousness won't be solely based on Ashur's.

Each Atlas ship is equipped with the most advanced shielding technologies, cyber warfare programs, and pretty badass weapons like the ones you talked about ^. All Frigates are equipped with Stealth Systems as well. If it came down to 1v1, Atlas Ships could outfight most others, but we simply don't have the numbers that you, or anyone else does. What we lack in numbers, we make up for in technological capabilities. So long as we avoid major confrontation with your fleets, we can wage a War. And as far as ground forces go, they're state-of-the-art as well, but we wage war on the ground unconventionally too.

Atlas is a multi-national galactic political, scientific, and paramilitary organization based from the UTT Empire of Earth, with vast influence within many other factions. In many regions, Atlas is considered a terrorist organization, though no government has yet labeled them a threat to national security. The organization is known for it's "Human Supremacy" views, and has organized the political protection of Humans living in alien space various times. Atlas was founded in the early days of the UTT Empire, as Humans began to recreate manifest destiny, and eventually found themselves under alien rule. This, mixed with a galaxy filled with hostile alien life, would ultimately force the Empire to remain secluded, but Atlas went on to lead the fight for Humanity abroad. Atlas would fund and puppet many political organizations within foreign nations that would promote Human rights, and has become known as a "force for good" in many areas.

Though, Atlas has also waged a bloody campaign to rid the galaxy of those who stand in the way of Human expansion. In much of Deep Space, the outer regions of the Milky Way, the far-reached colonies of many major galactic powers have seemingly vanished, only to reappear later with a fresh batch of Humans. Many worlds in Deep Space have been colonized by Atlas, who also maintains bases in these locations. Though, their unspoken genocide of alien colonists in Deep Space has made many galactic factions weary of Atlas, especially in recent years, but just as they came under political pressure, War broke out with the Highbreed, and their attention was diverted.

Which is true, but the energy still has to go somewhere, so shields are going to be inherently limited, while any ship can easily carry around enough weaponry to crack open a planet. And while I'm not taking everything at the '5' level of Moh's (and I'm only a 3.5 at best), I am taking everything to be around a 3, with the whole drunkwalking and IW being done in the background.
