I will respond to everyone tomorrow. Tired right now. I can't wait to start stirring up trouble with the Cult...

By the way, if the military of Delta's civ falls mostly under Cult control, they're probably going to end up assisting their 'All Father.'

And that means a fleet of cultists helping to secure systems in advanced for the All Father by reinforcing control and such... It's going to be fun.

Most of the Cadian Fleet is in and around the Grand Rapids region of Eridanus, namely Delta Eridani and surrounding system.

So if you want to wage war with the Imperium, you're gonna have to go deep into enemy (friendly?) territory.

Nothing new, just an updated app of the Tagali Federation for the post war. Just something to work on since I have a bunch of ideas I can't do yet. Feedback is welcome if you feel so inclined.

GENERAL-
NS Nation Name: The Greater Gambia
Nation Name: The Tagali Federation
Flag:Flag of the Federation
Location: The Sargassi Star Cluster (Hundreds of worlds), Former Khyrsian Confederacy Territory (Disputed with the Azyrian Empire, maybe?)
Map-WIP
Government type: Democratic Republic
Economic ideology:
History:

While the High Breed War caused brought massive destruction to many of the Galaxy's major players, the Tagali Federation was left relatively untouched compared to other belligerents like the Ostians and the Cho'dosan Covenant. While other nations had to focus on rebuilding, the Federation didn't have to, allowing them to look outward. Due to the Federation's richness in resources, many traders and merchants made a huge profit on selling goods to the war torn civilizations of the galaxy, leading to a economic boom none of the Federation's species had ever seen the likes of.

Due to the discovery and later admission of the last of the Kelraaza, now beginning mass cloning to restart their species, the Federation began to incorporate Kelraaza technology into their own. Feats in Engineering allowed whole cities and infrastructure to be built in a matter of months to even weeks. The Federation saw a major boost in AI research, increasing the effectiveness of the military and other fields in Federation society. Speaking of the Military, the Federation Military began to adopt many Kelraaza technologies into their own such as Nanite covered hulls and ionized gas weaponry, along with the Federations own research into Dark Matter Pulse weaponry and plasma. Psionic abilities soon became wide spread across the Federation species, with those who trained with the Kelraaza able to wield power previously unimaginable.

This advancement led to the Lahira Protocols, a decree to the Galaxy that all territory within the Sargassi Star Cluster was territory of the Tagali Federation. Within days of the proclamation, Federation ships scoured across the Star Cluster, first spreading it's authority into the once lawless Fringe Systems, bringing them under the umbrella of the Federation, renaming them the Inner Systems. As the Federation continued their heavy expansion, they soon ran into other species that called the Sargassi Cluster home. While still forcefully admitting some into the Federation, instead of exterminating them or forcing them to leave their systems, the Federation allowed these new comers self rule within the confines of the Federation, even those that had to taste the boot of the Tagali Military. Within the span of two years, the Tagali Federation had taken over the entire star cluster as no other power in the cluster as able to rival them. Many species now made up the Federation. Some were the descendents of the Kelraaza's Cradle programs such as the original member species, along with the Apri, Shanji, and Golta. Others, like the Edge Humans and the Scra'Shn were settlers from outside the Sargassi Star Cluster.

The rapid expansion of the Tagali Federation had not gone unnoticed. Their neighbors in the Khyrsian Confederacy were worried by the sudden spread of Tagali authority, their long rivals. The leadership of the Confederacy decided to launch a sneak attack on the Tagali Federation in hopes of ending the close to home threat once and for all. Unfortunately for the Khyrsians, the Tagali Military was an intelligence black hole. They were prepared for a quick conflict in one system, fighting an enemy outnumbered and outgunned.

They were not ready for Kelraaza ships and Legionaries, equipped with technology leagues ahead of their own and built to fight a foe much stronger than them. They were not prepared for hordes of Maug-Lai ships attacking the undefended corridors of their Empire, launching assaults on the worlds themselves. They were not prepared for the modern and advanced ships and watched in horror as the hulls of their ships seemed to absorb the blasts of their ships weapons. They were not prepared to fight soldiers trained from the first day they enter training to fight the Confederacy along with a tradition of guerrilla and asymmetric warfare, while the Confederates themselves barely had Intel on the enemy they faced. They especially weren't prepared for squads of powerful psionic Operatives infiltrating their nation, using their abilities to possess the minds of the Confederates, using them for intelligence gathering, sabotage, and general acts of terror.

The Confederate forces were drastically unprepared to fight the Tagali Federation, instead of the landslide victory over a small primitive nation, it was they who were outgunned and outnumbered. The assault was almost instantly pushed back and forced the Confederacy on the defensive. As the Federation began "System Hopping" to avoid major Confederate military strongholds and isolate them, cutting them off from supply lines and stopping them from regrouping for a counter attack, further crippling the Khyrsian forces. With most of their military cut off and isolated, The Khyrsians could do little and had to rely on local defense forces. After a year of fighting, the Tagali Federation was in control of large swaths of Confederate territory. Still, Enclaves continued to fight a losing battle. To bring an end to the conflict, the Federation government forced the remaining members of the Confederate People's Council to call for a cease in hostilities and signed a official peace treaty, bringing the worlds and species of the aggressors of the conflict into the Federation and bringing an end to the long lived Khyrsian Confederacy and would serve as a learning tool for Military Academies all over the galaxy as to why intelligence is paramount to a successful military campaign.

With hundreds of systems and species under their control, advanced technology that is the envy of the Galaxy, and military superiority of the southern edge of the Galaxy, the Tagali Federation has become a Galactic Super Power. The Federation has become known as the "Giant of the Edge".
-Species-

Tagali Humanoid, Similar to humans, skin tone is various shades of blue, slightly taller than the average human, superb agility and speed, able to reach speeds of 20 mph, light colored hair, red eyes with night vision, Omnivores, Primarily consume Meat.

Taani

Maug-Lai

Valonians

Dalga

Yongmee

Devenok (Deros):

Kelraaza:

Apri:

Shanji:

Golta:

Scra'Shn:

Khyrsians: First of the Confederacy. Elfish humanoids. Political
masterminds; master manipulators. Sexual/Cloning.

Vaurians: Second Confederate race. Reptilian-insectoids. Warlike, extremely proficient at military. Sexual.

Ariva: Third Confederate race. Elfish humanoid all-female shapeshifters. Master spies/infiltrators; great seductresses. Often commended for their beauty. Semi-asexual.

Verga: Fourth Confederate race. Cybernetic/Semi-Silicon based Insectoids. Somewhat synthetic. Extremely high intelligence, logic processing and great strategist capabilities; extremely advanced in technology. Cloning-only; nongender.

Thorian: Fifth Confederate race. Reptilians. Extremely honorbound and pride-driven. Loyal to no end; will fight and die for the Confederacy before betrayal/secession. Egg-Laying/Nesting.

Edge Humans: Recently discovered Humans that inhabit the edges of the Sargassi Star Cluster. With the exception of the Traxian Conglomerate, their technology has changed little in the past 500 years since this section of Humanity made their corner of the Sargassi Star Cluster home. For most of their history, they were isolated from Earth and the rest of the Galaxy, usually fighting amongst themselves. When discovered by the Federation, some joined willingly and peacefully, others required a more "forceful" push into the Federation.
- Neograd Collective:

- The Halus Sovereignty: Descendants of colonists from Africa, South America, and Australia, the Halus Sovereignty was the most stable of the Edge Human civilizations, both economically and politically. When the Federation had reached their shores at the edge of the Sargassi Star Cluster, they were the only ones of the Human Civilizations to join willingly.

- Traxian Conglomerate: The most advanced of the Edge Human Civilizations and also the largest at 10 systems. There are no nations within the Conglomerate, but Corporations which function in the same manner.

Created: The "Created" are just another example of synthetic beings revolting against their organic creators. Originally created by the Traxian Conglomerate to fill the ranks of the Traxian Army, they were built with technology the Traxian humans did not understand, later found to be Kelraaza in origin. This technology gave the "Created" the spark of life. While other Synthetic races work on a hive mind, each of the "Created" is it's own individual.

Immigrants: Citizens not originally from the Federation, but instead immigrating from friendly nations such as Ostia, Spindle, or the Covenant. They are small in number and generally stay in the Core Worlds, the planets of the original members of the Federation, just in case the situation grows unstable and can easily return home.

Other: The Species listed here are only make up a fraction of the species that make up the Tagali Federation. Many of them are low tech pre-space species, others are just at grasping the first steps of space exploration. Many barely have any contact with the other members of the Federation, or even have knowledge of it at all, just had the (mis)fortune of being in the path of their Expansionist fever.

ECONOMIC-
Ideology:
Economy:(Horrible, weak, decent, good, strong, etc) Good
Manufacturing:(how good is it) 8/10
Agriculture:(how good is it) Multiple "Bread Basket" Systems, namely the Beltar System, Home of the Taani. While the Core worlds can feed themselves fine, and the other major species can do the same, many of the smaller communities struggle to survive.
MILITARY-
Population: 75 Billion
Branches:

The Tagali Federation is a formidable beast, made up of individuals from a variety of species. While the military has integrated membership between species, there are individual groups reserved for different species such as the Golta Battalions and the Human Infantry Divisions. The Federation Military makes use of the many strengths of their member species, creating one of the best Armed Forces in the galaxy.

Standard infantry:
Standard Federation Soldier (Adjusted to fit the needs of different species.)
Standard weapons:

Standard ship:
Satara-Class Fighter/Interceptor/Bomber
Kandalla-Class Light Corvettes (Smaller version of Heavy Corvette)
Sornai-Class Heavy Corvettes
Yonghai-Class Light Frigates (Smaller version of the Heavy Frigate)
Keshiga-Class Heavy Frigates
Jakala-Class Battlecruisers
Matchakia-Class Carrier
Traxus Class Dreadnought
Halus-Class Cruiser
Todval-Class Capital Ships (Retired)

Sargassi-Class Capital Ship
Weapons:
Strengths: Plenty of worlds, Advanced technology, Sargassi Star Cluster rich in resources, Members of species native to the Sargassi Star Cluster are capable of powerful psionic abilities.
Weaknesses: Too many worlds, many worlds are undeveloped. Some species (tribal, pre-space civs) don't even know they're apart of the Federation. Bloody rivalries between some of the species (Maug-Lai vs Golta, Apri vs Shanji, Edge Humans vs Everyone, Created vs Edge Humans)

Writing that Highbreed post. May I pretend that the latest development of your Highbreed thing happened about two hours ago from the last post. So that N'Soko and my guys can roll out in their mecha again? Also that would mean Alder and the squad would be contained somewhere in their respective areas. In a time line perspective....

1. Alder and squad are detained.
2. Two hours later, Spindle shows up first then Highbreed fleet. Right before Spindle shows up the Highbreed began their offensive and slugs appear.

Also when you mean using my own tactics against myself, you mean I have free reign over what tactics are used and how they work against themselves?

I was sort of implying that the Highbreed were trying to use countermeasures against the Ostian forces. Essentially, if your guys are using flanks to try and surround them, they aren't going straight forward; but directly at your flanks from all sides, if possible. That's just an example.

Also, how many systems would you say the Confederacy owns?
