Look up the blank version of the Victoria 2 map. That should put you on the right track.

If everyone's pretty much agreed that Azyrians are OK, does anyone mind if I make my first post with them?

If you download a blank version of the map, usually I use paint. Since you use a mac, I'm not sure what you can do.

So, Moscow... I'm trying to assess (based on the post so far) what will have to be in my next Highbreed post. Here's what I got:

More general Highbreed incursion attacks.
RPing that lone and obvious Highbreed soldier who is a "survivor."
RPing as those 2-3 squads reporting back to base.

That about right? I feel like I'm missing something; not sure what. Also, I want the Azyrian Empire to meet someone who hasn't gotten fully involved with the Highbreed as of yet... but not many people fit that. Not sure what to do about that.

I should probably note that despite the fact that the Highbreed has a mastery over all things biological, their "infiltration" hinges entirely on the fact one won't notice the true difference between them and the regular soldiers: the Highbreed's infiltrators can't hide their extra Biomass/DNA.

What does that mean?

It means if one were to do a hardcore chromosome match-up, the Ostian chromosomes would be large and in charge, but there'd be a bunch of tiny background chromosomes that make the DNA look messy and unprofessional. Of course, the infiltrators would know this. But the Ostians don't. So in all likelihood they match up the soldiers their posing as in every single other aspect. Even have their memories.

I have one weapon that could be used against the highbreed, but it causes tremendous environmental damage.
The BL-200 Tactical Incineration bomb has a payload of 5 teratons, and when used, forms a massive crater 100km in radius and depth, as well as melting everything within 1000 miles, and burning everything up to 3000 miles, so I guess that won't be necessary.
Option 2 is orbital bombardment, expect lots of massive craters.
Option 3 is using chemical weapons that turn biomass into heavily flammable sludge.

Sounds entertaining. Although, I'm pretty sure we agreed to no real "superweapons" until the situation gets desperate.

There can be a"lone survivor" or a few if you want. As for the squads, I'll let you decide. It would be interesting if some of them had a genuine equipment failure. But regardless, the tell-tale sign may be the technology itself. How you killed the previous soldiers makes a difference, but yes you can mimic a signal. But if the doc opens you up and sees that components and damaged, missing or in the wrong-places. He's going to be suspicious.

Also "we" is a very strange word choice since I am pretty sure you are not on my list of allies at the moment...And I check it twice. But here is where the difference of commanders come into play. The Emperor's orders was to not use those weapons until a last resort and the planet must be livable. However interpretation of the term can be fluid , as long as there is an explainable reason how the planet can still be liveable and ma provide resources undiscovered or unreachable till then.

I guess orbital bombardment could work, just mind that my MAC's are VERY large (50,000 ton shell). We can send terraforming devices over if the planet is too damaged

I was talking about OOC-wise. But yeah.

Anyways, yeah, I was kind of referring to the soldier you said was arriving ICly at the base during a staged chase, as well as the squads you said were approaching a base of yours.

That was what I was talking about before. There's room in that hover-truck for more than one person. I mean the guy just talked to the first guy that came out. As for the squads, any person you chose not to be Highbreeded will be under my sway. Both their still going to be examined by the medical personal. Be sure to follow conventions or what not.

Gotcha. So I'll RP as the guy who was driving the hover-truck in the staged chase then. Anyways I'll wait for you to finish your post.

Sloppy job at the end, but it is pretty much done. For the starships they're trying to scuttle them. Or use the battlesuits to blow them up from the outside.

I really want to know what kind of kink involves being set on fire, but at the same time I really, really don't.
