In serious (ish) terms now, yep. That sounds like a good plan. Having said that, another quickie question (I'm fond of those today): how much are we going to say Spindle has militarily in and around the Imperator's Might?

Um, I'm going to say that the Remnant works semi-well with Spindlean navy. That being said, the Imperator's Might is almost entirely self-sufficient due to its size and it having several minifactories, two small agriculture/farm centers, and its own ballroom/palace-like area. So, it really needs no defense, but when it is defended, it is defended by two Imperial Dreadnoughts of Taari origin, the Imperator's Fist (Daelur-class Dreadnought; 5 km) and the Imperator's Hand (same as the Fist).

So, I want to say that the Remnant defends its own pretty well, considering. But, in any case, I'll say at least one or two Spindlean fleets help defend it and or are near it at any given time, ontop of whatever Remnant Fleets are in their new 'home system.'

Humans parallel-evolved on Nakatsuchi several million years in the past. Over a period of around 200,000 years, the humans of Nakatsuchi built a civilisation that would be very recognisable to other interstellar nations as a mirror of what they could have been in the distant past. With the Industrial Revolution in the 1800s and the political turmoil in the 1900s, Nakatsuchi emerged into 2050 after going through four World Wars and two Cold Wars between its major power blocs. As of 2050, the violent humans of Nakatsuchi excel only in killing each other, now resting in a third Cold War and slowly colonising their moon. They are split into 54 bickering nation-states, set into numerous power blocs that face each other with suspicion. These primitive people have yet to explore the stars beyond a few unmanned probes, and still live blissfully unaware that they are not alone in the galaxy...

Strengths: None. They would probably be outclassed by the majority of the galaxy.
Weaknesses: Almost everything compared to the rest of the galaxy. The various nations are more concerned with fighting each other than anything else, and in fact the planet still does not fully believe they are not alone in the galaxy.

...If you haven't noticed by now this is a PMT planet application for an FT RP. =P I would like to see what a first contact and subsequent (possible) uplifting of an Earthlike into a true FT civilisation is like. This is my second experiment with this concept, and the first of the new Planet of Nakatsuchi (which I'm still developing in detail off-site tbh).
