I am probably going to finish my IC post before I go to bed tonight, but no sooner. I'm replying to like 3 people at once so... apologies. Also, if we're doing ship sizes.

Bioship (4 seen so far; all destroyed; many more in production): ~1,000 meters / ~1 km or less.
Bioship Dreadnought (1 seen so far; partly destroyed and mixed with Ostian ships to support itself): 2,000-5,000 meters / 2-5 km
Bioship Super Dreadnought (none seen, so far): 10,000-15,000 meters / 10-15 km.
Bioship Tyrant Dreadnought (none seen, so far): 15,000+ meters / 15 km, always.
Warmind (none seen, so far): not technically a ship, but essentially a 'space station' made of biomass that acts as an Allmind 'Hub' to expand control over several nearby systems. Tend to be nearly the size of a moon.

The Highbreed are going to be problematic in the future.

me, you can enter the Arcturus System, a super populated system with a large city world and a science base + fortress world. We want food! Seriously, there is a huge food shortage. You can surely meet our colossal ships!

I'm getting my starships sized up but upon reading all the other posts I feel very small. Aterrian Union has only one system but it has 2.1 trillion compared to the Ostian Imperium which has 25 systems and 54 billion overall. I feel like a midget in a bull fight.

Oh about that, our people are rather orderly compared to most, but the riot police are more military than police; no one wants to riot because a tank will most likely obliterate you. Plus, everyone can live on protein bars for some time.

Info on Union weapons and tech: Crude looking, but very effective and also advanced in many cases.
Our singularity cannon fires a black hole that utterly devastates pretty much anything, but the cannon itself looks somewhat bulky and lacking.
The Original Union had a very large Mecha corp. The Average world had 1000. Arcturus has over 100,000 in storage, sadly there are only 8,000 trained pilots. *Our mechas are very unoriginal, basically everything is Fiction inspired (with tweaks of course!)
Union ships have over 8 ways of FTL travel. Only one is used though, and it is very fast at 50,000 light years a day. (The Necron styled quantum phase drive makes travel instant, but is 500 times more expensive).
Our laser gun is often underestimated due to its primitive looks.
Our ship armor is good vs all. It's basically shoot it a lot (like ALOT) or aim for the really weak area (The Command Bridge is insanely weak compared to the hull).

Location: Hino System
Government type: Various types, tied together by the United Nations intergovernmental organisation
Economic ideology: Various types.
History:
Humans parallel-evolved on Nakatsuchi several million years in the past. Over a period of around 200,000 years, the humans of Nakatsuchi built a civilisation that would be very recognisable to other interstellar nations as a mirror of what they could have been in the distant past. With the Industrial Revolution in the 1800s and the political turmoil in the 1900s, Nakatsuchi emerged into 2050 after going through four World Wars and two Cold Wars between its major power blocs. As of 2050, the violent humans of Nakatsuchi excel only in killing each other, now resting in a third Cold War and slowly colonising their moon. They are split into 54 bickering nation-states, set into numerous power blocs that face each other with suspicion. These primitive people have yet to explore the stars beyond a few unmanned probes, and still live blissfully unaware that they are not alone in the galaxy...

Weapons: Varies from late 20th century to mid 21st century weapons, both conventional and nuclear. Drones are widely used, and spaceborne (and anti-orbit) weapons exist. Lasers also exist but are never main weapons, often used as CIWS or such.
Strengths: None. They would probably be outclassed by the majority of the galaxy.
Weaknesses: Almost everything compared to the rest of the galaxy. The various nations are more concerned with fighting each other than anything else, and in fact the planet still does not fully believe they are not alone in the galaxy.

...If you haven't noticed by now this is a PMT planet application for an FT RP. =P I would like to see what a first contact and subsequent (possible) uplifting of an Earthlike into a true FT civilisation is like. This is my second experiment with this concept, and the first of the new Planet of Nakatsuchi (which I'm still developing in detail off-site tbh).
