I think a bit cheated, but would they be somewhat as good as the current version?

Its still advance and it will help with food production like they said, just the Coalition can only really trade - outdated tech that has little or none military use, civilian goods and various surplus metals.

Hmm, I feel like adding a random cargo ship somewhere, most likely in Ostian Space or Sovik (Soviet) space. It's going to be a huge cargo ship at 30km long, no weapons, and lots of stuff inside. It will have one military escort ship (standard 15km long battleship). They are on a diplomatic mission for help.

was that xeno ship mine?

Why you want to help the SRF (Sovik Revolutionary Front)? I think its going to be interesting interactions with you and my guys since you guys don't like Empires and my people are an empire.

They seem to be fellow socialists! But in all actuality, right now Ostia itself probably would be the better partner, and we aren't dumb. The Cargo ship is now entering the Fuerein System (I'm assuming we are not the xenos). Seeing how Ostia's population pales in comparison with Arcturus 1 (city world) alone, they could use some extra support in whatever. Please note that now Arcturus 1 isn't producing stuff for anyone, economic collapse is eminent.

That's a big post. I'm going to reply tomorrow morning, namely because right now my brain doesn't want to cooperate with me.

Our capital ships are massive, but they are nothing compared to the old Union's BattleStars, which are easily 1200km long. Arcturus doesn't have any though. Our troops may look less than impressive, but looks deceive.

Well, Lyson has a very colorful view of xenos... but he gave some insight as to why he has such colorful views. Hm. Perhaps Euphemia can use that.

I'm hoping. My brain is currently blanking, but I'm hoping it'll start helping after I bash out what Eris is going to do.

I see. Well, I wish you luck.

Nonetheless; Taari take about 7-8 months to be born, and humans take 9-ish. So, how far do we timeskip for a children to be born? 7-8 or 9 months? Or do we not want to go there, yet?

Thanks.

And...I don't know. I'd assume since the mother is Human they'd come out when her system says they're ready, so probably around nine months, but then they'd be fairly overdeveloped for their age. I don't know if the biology stands, but it seems to make some sort of sense, to me anyway.

Yeah. That makes sense, I suppose. So, anyways, when should we timeskip? Should we let Euphemia finish working on Lyson first... or what?

Finish today off then timeskip? If Lyson doesn't crack today (and I don't think he will, much though Euphemia may try) then I'll just say that she visited him every day since then to talk with him.

Having said that, I run into a problem. Euphemia's only got Lyson for a few months, so he'll be out of her custody by the time Eris gives birth, so whatever he does will already have been done by that point.

So, I suppose we'll just have to say he ended up caving slightly in that time, perhaps? And that he voluntarily stays in Euphemia's custody so she can help him?

Yeah, that sounds good. It'll definitely be interesting to see him half-healed and working with Euphemia.

Yep. It'd be interesting to say the least. I suddenly feel like we're trying to build a second ship that seems unlikely but will probably happen anyway...

BEHOLD OUR FLEET OF MIGHTY SHIPS! COWER BEFORE THEIR WRATH!

On a (slightly) more serious note, how is it that we end up making all the ships around here? Does no-one else have any shipbuilding infrastructure lying around?

I don't know. Perhaps we're prone to romance. Likely and otherwise. :p
