Look up the blank version of the Victoria 2 map. That should put you on the right track.

The BL-200 Tactical Incineration bomb has a payload of 5 teratons, and when used, forms a massive crater 100km in radius and depth, as well as melting everything within 1000 miles, and burning everything up to 3000 miles, so I guess that won't be necessary.
Option 2 is orbital bombardment, expect lots of massive craters.
Option 3 is using chemical weapons that turn biomass into heavily flammable sludge.

Sounds entertaining. Although, I'm pretty sure we agreed to no real "superweapons" until the situation gets desperate.

There can be a"lone survivor" or a few if you want. As for the squads, I'll let you decide. It would be interesting if some of them had a genuine equipment failure. But regardless, the tell-tale sign may be the technology itself. How you killed the previous soldiers makes a difference, but yes you can mimic a signal. But if the doc opens you up and sees that components and damaged, missing or in the wrong-places. He's going to be suspicious.
Also "we" is a very strange word choice since I am pretty sure you are not on my list of allies at the moment...And I check it twice. But here is where the difference of commanders come into play. The Emperor's orders was to not use those weapons until a last resort and the planet must be livable. However interpretation of the term can be fluid , as long as there is an explainable reason how the planet can still be liveable and ma provide resources undiscovered or unreachable till then.

I was talking about OOC-wise. But yeah.
Anyways, yeah, I was kind of referring to the soldier you said was arriving ICly at the base during a staged chase, as well as the squads you said were approaching a base of yours.

That was what I was talking about before. There's room in that hover-truck for more than one person. I mean the guy just talked to the first guy that came out. As for the squads, any person you chose not to be Highbreeded will be under my sway. Both their still going to be examined by the medical personal. Be sure to follow conventions or what not.Rank, Name, Squad, Platoon, Company
Anything you call it will be fine. Just be sure to use german names.
