Territorial claims clash with those of the republic of China. In any case the triple intervention was a response to the Japanese demand for of a paltry peninsula. Annexation of Manchuria, Russia's sphere of influence would have been impossible. OTL Japan also had a peacetime strength of 300,000. In 1937... Apologise for being pedantic but the RP's rules clearly state that realism is a necessity.
