One day, she found herself on the roof of a building in a wealthier neighbourhood, surrounded. Not wanting to be taken into custody by the police, she tried to jump off the roof, but this time she failed to break her fall, breaking her neck in the process and dying shortly afterwards of the injury.

Divine Phoenix
Lora's super is the ability to summon a large phoenix made of divine fire. The Divine Phoenix is extremely strong and fast. Due to the strength, Lora can only summon one before she has to rest. Unlike other familiars, the Divine Phoenix only lasts for a period of time before it burns up completely and needs to be re summoned. It's fire can heal allies while damaging enemies.

Chains of Domination:
Gwen can summon the Chains of Domination, which are powerful, magic chains. She can control the chains to protect her, to strike enemies, or to bind enemies. When an enemy is bound with the Chains of Domination, Gwen can adsorb their energy, weakening them, and killing them eventually (the time it takes to kill with them is dependent on certain variables - age of victim, the spirit of the victim, if they are familiars, etc.). She then can take that energy to help heal herself, or give her more energy. The Chains appear to be large and black, covered with spikes and lit a blaze with a cold, blue flame. If she uses it against her own summoned creatures, she gains about 3/4's of the energy that was needed to summon the creature.

seems odd, when i think of a duelist I think of someone who breaks up gang fights to go 1v1 against someone else. I understand how they could be a tank, to an extent

By duelist, I meant someone with mad skills, to the point where wearing too much armor would slow them down. So, they 'Tank' in the term that they could taunt/piss off enemies and engage them with constant strikes and lightning fast parries. You know in the games like Assassin's Creed, where the MC beats the shit out of anyone because of insane skill? That's what the duelist is.

Sounds trickster/infantry tanks should be the people taking the main assault and laughing off damage like it's nothing.
