I'll likely restore a previous character of mine from a former RP with modifications to fit this setting. A female snake anthro is my present concept. This RP reminds me of so many attempts I"ve made to do the same, and also of how I should eventually read Centaur Worries some day.

Actually I do remember you, and it most defiantly has been a whils.

I just recently had a thought of doing a mtg rp that was based in Zendikar (keep things centralized) focused around the natives defending against the Eldrazi. The idea popped into my head since I just grabbed the Eldrazi vs Zendikar duel decks (which then pulled them apart for cards, and built a new nasty deck out of a good portion of the Eldrazi deck and other cards). The deck I built, its BUG-R (it's only got three red cards in it, and I loaded it with dual and a couple of triple color lands) and while not particularly fast, it's fun once it starts rolling.

I'm only stuck on deciding if I want to play a male or female. I'm leaning towards male. I've been playing too many females in the past year, and am feeling more confident then I have before. As in, I was very timid and had my own issues. Now that I"m feeling stronger then I have in the past I have been playing more male characters.

I'm not sure how a male snake character should be. Liliana in her first incarnation was the kind of person who would lounge in a tree and listen to the people below or warm her self in the open sun. She had connected to another Curse Born (as the first Lil was so due to Greek style divine punishment), and the two where best friends. At large I realize that Lil's main characterization came from those around her- alone she was nothing more then a serpent who rested alot, and approached when something caught her interest.

As you can see, an utterly character lacking entity in my retrospective opinion- no matter how many others have asked that I bring her back. Perhaps someone who was there remembers her differently.

But I think I digress- most snake people I"m familiar with are female- so a male- a male is going to take some time for me to formulate.

To his village he was shunned and deemed not suitable to be the village defender. He grew as a normal child but he only grew one year for him every twelve and a half years. Over the years, he grew more and more disenfranchised with people he was supposed to protect and when WW2 broke out, he did nothing as he watched the Nazis steamroll his village, murdering everyone. It was at this time he withdrew completely from society thinking they were all irredeemable as all they did was thirst for blood. No nips I apprciate you pointing out the need for a cleaning up of the application. My reason back in Modern Mythos (the first RP to have her) for not giving her breasts was in hopes that players would like her for her nature- and they did- until we started talking about her appearance and they realized that she doesn't have a human face- and then suddenly most characters where creeped out by her watching nature and huge tail. She did have friends in a girl who had wolves for legs- I think she was based on Cycilia from Greek Mythology.

The cat convulsed and shrieked while clawing at itself until it died. He sought help until his parents found a school that will protect him from those who would do him harm and will help him with this gift-wrapped curse.

To use Demonic Magic, Merlin has to tap into Voids power, as such, a purple aura will appear around Merlin, his eyes turn purple and his hair gets red accents and he is surrounded by a purple aura.
Demon Imprisonment - Merlin is capable of imprisoning any being that has the blood of a demon, or monstrous blood (vamps, weres, etc.). He can imprison them by binding them to certain items, as such, if the items are destroyed, the beings are released. He carries multiple stones to bind less powerful demons to, and imprison them in. He can release them with ease without having to destroy the items. As such, he finds this ability extremely useful for giving detentions.
Void Unbound - Merlin can unleash some of Void's power, in doing so he losses most control of himself, becoming a danger to all around him. But the positives is that everything about him increases. He gets faster, stronger, more durable, his magic gets even stronger. It is a risky ability to use, as it gives Void a chance to take control. When Void Unbound is active, Merlin's eyes turn purple, his entire body gets enveloped in a black mist, with red accents.

This was all a lie of course, Merlin noticed that during the summer solstice, he was able to take some control back. But, Void wasn't fully destroyed, instead, Void was chained and bound deep inside Merlin's soul. The power that Void gave him stayed, but Void was chained, mostly. Over the next thousand years, not much happened. The Romans came to Britian, they left, Merlin decided to travel the world. He would eventually return to Britain to help a little known legendary king, King Arthur. Merlin quickly befriended him, and was at his side all his life, even when Arthur laid upon his death bed. Merlin can tell you, that many of the stories involving King Arthur were pretty inaccurate, but some were correct. Merlin was touched when Arthur gave him Excalibur with his dying breaths. Merlin then continued to live a quiet life, until the coming of the World Wars.

Merlin fought during those wars, not against other men, against himself. He fought to keep Void contained. He managed to beat Void, and chain him in his soul once again. Merlin has some control of Void, enough to keep him chained, but still to be able to use his powers. He fears for the day that Void will break the chains completely.

But, until that day comes, he seeks to do as much good for the human and supernatural world as possible. So, he has become the approachable Headmaster of Aurora High. He will also teach classes if he is needed to.

Merlin was blinded by the need to protect his people, so blind that he didn't see that Void was trying to trick him. He accepted Void's promise, and was giving great power, he didn't see the snake under the flower... until it was to late. One day Merlin felt something growing inside of him, something dark. Before he could even conceive what happened, it happened. Void granted him power, but he also merged Merlin with him. Void killed everyone of Merlin's people. He had been tricked, and he could do nothing but speak to the demon.

Eventually, Merlin was able to trick Void into building a special structure. This structure would act as a energy conductor, to assist in imprisoning Void. This circle of rings is now called Stonehenge. Merlin told Void that on a certain day, with certain events that Stonehenge would make him more powerful, perhaps strong enough to rival even the strongest of gods. This was all a lie of course, Merlin noticed that during the summer solstice, he was able to take some control back. With that information, and an energy conductor, Merlin could possible, take full control back, and destroy Void. It worked. During the next summer solstice, Merlin was able to gain enough control to harness the energy conducted by Stonehenge and reclaim his body. But, Void wasn't fully destroyed, instead, Void was chained and bound deep inside Merlin's soul. The power that Void gave him stayed, but Void was chained, mostly. Merlin found that if he needed he could unbind Void for a short period of time to give him power.

Over the next thousand years, not much happened. The Romans came to Britian, they left, Merlin decided to travel the world. He would eventually return to Britain to help a little known legendary king, King Arthur. Merlin quickly befriended him, and was at his side all his life, even when Arthur laid upon his death bed. Merlin can tell you, that many of the stories involving King Arthur were pretty inaccurate, but some were correct. Merlin was touched when Arthur gave him Excalibur with his dying breaths. Merlin then continued to live a quiet life, until the coming of the World Wars.

Merlin fought during those wars, not against other men, against himself. He fought to keep Void contained. He managed to beat Void, and chain him in his soul once again. Merlin has some control of Void, enough to keep him chained, but still to be able to use his powers. He fears for the day that Void will break the chains completely.

But, until that day comes, he seeks to do as much good for the human and supernatural world as possible. So, he has become the approachable Headmaster of Aurora High. He will also teach classes if he is needed to.

Basically if the school gets razed we'll just #BlameVoid, and if Void ever takes over Merlin I guess that means Kevin will need to fight him, that'll be interesting to say the least.

If you want to proceed in the story just use faust as your personal Ragdoll for entering. You can just have him as an unconscious person for this little part.
This way he can enter in a big way and the rest of us can enter the RP without Piling up on what Setinel posted.
