I'll have to remember to leverage your poor PR when I want to foment rebellions on your worlds. Besides, slavery, aside from limited labor from criminals, has been pretty adequately disproven as a method of economic booster in the SW universe by the Empire's vast slave operations being money sinks.

Certainly, certainly, with the implication that slavery would be acceptable due to that context.

Regardless, as to your earlier question, I believe Eridanus is rather busy IRL, so next month may be somewhat delayed. Time will tell. Perhaps you as a Co-Op should get in touch with him and work on helping with some of the rolls.

you CAN play Old SIth, but make sure you don;t use the same history or figures as the otehr guy.

Pros
Quality over Quantity Through few in number, the Old Sith are some of the best troops in the galaxy.
Devotion To even be a member of the Old Sith, the soldiers had to prove that are willing to die for the Sith.

Cons
Expensive Most of the Sith Units are expensive, making it hard to replace losses in a timely fashion.
Low Numbers The Old Sith are outnumbered and most depend on subterfuge and quality of units over quantity and conventional warfare until they are able to grow.

Pros
Quality over Quantity Through few in number, the Old Sith are some of the best troops in the galaxy.
Devotion To even be a member of the Old Sith, the soldiers had to prove that are willing to die for the Sith.

Cons
Expensive Most of the Sith Units are expensive, making it hard to replace losses in a timely fashion.
Low Numbers The Old Sith are outnumbered and most depend on subterfuge and quality of units over quantity and conventional warfare until they are able to grow.

To my understanding, Vanq, that revolves around what type of faction you'll be writing. Independents likely lack much of a military, but might control several systems. Warlords are rogue Imperial officers, so they'll likely have a decent military of ex-Imperial assets, and they'll have a fief planet or two. Fleets are purely military, which means they'll be very strong compared to other factions, and can potentially start even in nominally claimed systems, but obviously without an ally or a lucrative contract they'll struggle to replace losses or expand their assets.

Oh, Flame Dawn, Seg, if either of you are lurking, could I get a roll on how many credits I recover from Nomad City on Rkllon? It apparently stored large amounts of very valuable minerals, so I figure that might be worth something.

Also, just a side note, but does anyone else think SSDs/Dreadnaughts are under costed? Currently it costs more to recruit two Star Destroyers than it does to recruit one Eclipse-class, and I think canonically SSDs are approximately equal to ~10 lesser capital ships. Perhaps we could raise the price to, say, 3000-4000 Credits?
