Yeah, it's called conscription. Plus, its only for four years, but people can volunteer to do it as a career soldier

Good luck with that friend. I have already started forging a friendship with Congo(you probably have too come to think of it), I have atomic weaponry backing me, plus Britain loves giving me stuff.

But Ethiopia is already viewed as a symbol of hope and liberty by millions of Africans across the continent and the world, and the Emperor of Ethiopia is one of the world's most respected leaders with a religion based around him and the sympathies of the world's media. You, on the other hand, are a neocolonial relic who sucks up to your former colonial masters whilst Ethiopia fights alone to liberate black Africans from the Arab yoke.

I officially denounced Portugal for their colonial actions, and I sent in troops to help Egypt when Israel invaded them. I'm hardly pro-colonial. I suck up to Britain as that's the fastest way to develop the nation. I don't know how much Rastafarianism is going to help you rule Africa. Also I plan to send troops to Sudan in my next post, or at least offer to.

Because I didn't have to. I outlined the conscription, the kinks get sorted out when Georgia gets independent.

Western Sahara has a lot of phosphate and fish. Oil, not so much; there might be offshore oil and gas reserves but the profitability of exploiting them is uncertain. Ethiopia also has some oil resources as well as plentiful gold.

Massive issue though. If I become independent I'm gonna need help with keeping order in place till the elections, and with keeping the Abkhazian and Ossetians under control. Anyone wanna make an international force to help me with that?

The only chance I have of getting oil resources is if I annex Angola, which won't be happening for a long, long time.
