There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Chedastan wrote:Excellent, I'll have something out tonight, probably. But I have a question first:
I am to assume that Romulus learned Marcus's name? Not actually that big of deal, but I found the prospect of him still not knowing his name to be rather funny. And when he did told him his name, I was going to have Romulus consider his name sacrilegious due to some weird naming convention in the Imperium that decided that names starting with "Ma" were only reserved for their pantheons (Maccabees, Magna, Malik, etc), and anyone using a name with that was taboo. Not technically illegal in the Imperium though, but you'll get some looks.
Also unimportant, curious question. Can a character be a vehicle? As in, can I have a character that's like a tank, but like alive. Like a machine virus/viral parasitic made it grow fleshy bits, and it now has a mind of it's own, and it's now using the tank as a shell for itself. Sorta like a chaos vehicle that has a bad case of daemonic possession, but also like an upscale version of that living gun SCP.

No.

I guess, well, we're all a hot mess. If those Fiends come back, we need to be better organized. Any suggestions?"
His eyes roamed towards the Froxians as he spoke. They were close enough to overhear him. Maybe they'd come over and offer ideas. Tora was probably with her sister or in the teen clubhouse. Kale seemed withdrawn. The healers were holding their own powwow, although they were speaking loudly enough for everyone to hear them. Poor Brit. He felt sorry for her. He was in the dark on the matter, but he knew what it was like to say that stuff to Adrastus. But the old cyborg was kindly, in his fashion. Marcus kept an ear on the healers' conversation while waiting for Romulus to respond.

Inside, Torii quickly out the supplies away and popped her back, taking a breather. The clubhouse, then? Ain't hung out there in a while. I wouldn't mind chips, either.", she agreed with Myra. "I wonder if Drova will come."
She gulped. She still had something to talk about with the boy. Would he still want to see her?
Swith Witherward wrote:...Myra paused and blinked at Torii. "But, if you miss Drova that much, you should hunt him down and see what he's up to. Was he part of the Building defenses?"
Torsiedelle wrote:..."I don't think Drova was helping with defense. I was hoping he'd find me. I think I might give him a chance, after our talk."...
Cerillium wrote:..."I don't think he got eaten," Myra rolled the top of the chips bag and set it beside her chair. "He has wings, so he would have flown away. You should give him a chance, Torii. You've known each other a while now, right?"
The warm sunlight, coupled with the TV's neutral noise, left her feeling heavy and content. A yawn formed her mouth into an O. "Y-Yuna's missing. Which one is your sister? Has she hung out with us before?"...
Torsiedelle wrote:..."Drova was my date for that ball on Gliese, and my Valentine this year. We kind of just went with it, since we both needed someone or else we'd feel like losers. He's a nice guy, too. I wouldn't mind trying. He's a good kisser, too.", She blushed....
Cerillium wrote:TEEN CLUBHOUSE
A blush rose to Myra's cheeks as well. idle gossip came to mind, and she couldn't stop herself from blurting it out. "Not to mention, I heard you guys got married at Zalgofest."
The notion was preposterous. But, everything about Zalgofests was equally preposterous! Myra's giggle stream suddenly stifled as her breath caught in her throat. "Oh my! What if that was the last one, ever? What if there aren't any here in this new place?"
It was at once a relief and a disappointment. The implications of it rocked her world. "Torii, what it is really was the last one? That means the Chaos group can't bring Zalgo in, right? So if they can't, does this mean they're as impotent as the rest of us? Our safety net would be gone. We'd have to handle everything. Like that giant hamster plague last Easter. The Men stopped that before it hit the city. And the plane that crashed right outside the Building? The Lads took care of that, and the Nifid put out the fire."
Suddenly independence didn't look so sweet. They'd have to handle all the fuck ups done by others. They'd have to police their own Building, and run off intruders. No more time stops, or funny guys jumping out of shadows to drag wounded people to safety. And death? Was death permanent now that they no longer had access to that assistance?
"I need to find Mr. Superbia and Mr. Lucius!"
What if Elohim wasn't in this world? What if no baby Jesus had been born here? No angels sung? No heavenly gates would open to collect all the Christian Residents. If that were so, what of the other pantheons? What of Giovenith's mother? Would Giovenith die if cut off from her? Was she cut off from her? Were Yuna and Drova magical beings that only could exist where their magic was recognized? Is that why they hadn't been seen at all? The girl's head spun from the thought of it.
Myra's leg sent the chip bag spinning across the floor as she struggled to get out of her chair. "Torii, what if Drova and Yuna were barred from the jump? What if they're still stuck back in Bielefeld?"
