Yep. The Fiends are pretty much grouped around the Building but, right at the moment, they're staying back from the doors.

Also, guys, I need some feedback if you've got time to give it. My most recent post - likely along with my next few - are partially combat. Now, I have read combat. I have read advice on combat. I did Silent Hill (Mon's, not the game.)

That said, the closest I've come to combat in real life: semi-wrestling a cat, using hands and arms and no real leverage; trying to escape tickling/snow down coat; throwing/punching stuff, throwing a punch at soneone who literally asked me to/thought it was really weak; biting someone (I was maybe four at the time); fake fencing with a foil - Aluminum foil; oh, and accidentally hitting someone with a jacket which had something heavy in a pocket and shoving a bully once. Oh, and maybe circa 24 hrs total of video gaming.

Physically, I am not notable. You may have guessed this. I really would like to know what you think. If I'm doing something right, please tell me; if I'm doing something wrong, please tell me.

She is rather out of practice with melee combat, but had used a sling fairly frequently pre-arrival - and now that I think about it I don't see her as having allowed herself to get out of practice with the latter. Especially not after Silent Hill.

Assuming that she's experienced and has been keeping that skill sharp offscreen (perhaps by drawing a target on an old dress and hanging it), how would you recommend that I amend future posts to show that she knows what she's doing?

It's a difficult balance for me because your post's actions are disjointed (which is good! confusion in battle) and I'm not a sling expert.

On the whole, I'm not seeing much that needs amending. Maybe adding in some details about calculating aim, etc.

Gotcha. I'm not a sling expert either. I read Wikipedia, then improvised one and slung an orange a few feet into my wall.

If anyone here knows something about slings, I'd love your input. For that matter, ditto on using items with some similarity to frying pans in combat - even if the experience is from a video game.

Lastly, @ Tilt mostly. Ignoring the realism of how the weapons are working and how Kwa'a is fighting relative to her actual experience if it is not actually jarring, is this post in your opinion well-written combat? If not, what should I change/work on? If so, what are some strengths or just things you liked?
