PL: The EPIC OOC XI [closed]

Guys, I'd like to genuinely apologize for being a mopey-asshole for the past few weeks. The transition to the new PL was cool, yet confusing at the same time, and I guess I didn't transition as well as I thought I could. Turns out old habits die hard, right? Yeah, I learned it the hard way with Torsii leaving, meaning there wasn't a constant chance for interaction. My posts have been some of the shortest (Still feeling bad about it), my characters have been all-but missing from play, and I just sort of lost the drive to post there (For fear of not being wanted around anymore, rejection, feeling like my characters would be killed for no reason, and a myriad of other reasons) But I'm glad that you guys at least keep up the illusion of still wanting me around (See, it's a joke. )

And I guess it comes down to me. Most of these things are my fault. Whether it's my past experiences construing negative experiences into even more negative experiences, or if it's just me not reading into everything.

So because of that. I'd like to say sorry one last (Hopefully!) time.

And yeah, I'll still be sitting out the currently planned adventure simply because my characters don't even know about them, but hopefully I'll be in a better spot to catch some of the next ones. It's been too long since any of my characters have done anything meaningful, or have had an impact on the story.

I thought Drova did good job. Plus there will be stuff to do at the Building.

Hey, shit happens. I'm glad you're feeling a bit back to your usual muffin-y self, though. :hug:

Yeah, I'm feeling a little more confident about my writing too.

A piece I wrote won 3rd place at the UW-Whitewater Writing festival, in one of the largest categories as well. Like, an actual professor praised the heck out of it. I was late to school and missed the bus, but I won and didn't even go (We wrote and submitted the stories in class, in different categories). Mine was a fan-fic about Code Geass, and somehow my 3 pages of an incomplete story won.

Drova was by the lifts, but I don't think you kept him there. Or did you? Yuna was with the teens. They went upstairs with Catrain (Zark's char) to get hot cocoa, and then went back into the hall because people wanted the dining room. Myra suggested the rec room instead, and then I moved her off to park her. Bran is probably tucked in his bed.

TIME SKIP done. Please don't continue to post anything from the night before. We will all (correctly) assume that everyone went to bed before this skip.

It's now the pre-dawn hours. The two groups are on their way. I didn't list everyone in the Ascalon group. You know what characters are going.

For those not on either quest, people are welcome to post their characters awaking to start their day. I'd like no more than 2 characters per person in play at a time, including those characters on the road.

The hospital is now open. Malaise will man the reception desk for now.

We put out the call weeks ago, and have talked about it a bunch. The only other one that expressed maybe joining was Bran, but the list was already too long... and still is, IMHO.
