I just fear that I'm going to inevitably repeat an action that's going to have major consequences. I know none of us want that. It's quickly looking like that day as I remember something good happening before it. Today I just got recommended by the CAP promotion board to be a 2nd Lieutenant. I don't want to get a leg up and then lose this again.
Then don't screw up. You're in control of your actions, here. Just make sure your characters are behaving in-character, and that you don't lash out at one of Slo's other characters as a result of this, and you will not be in danger of repeating it.
I need to point out, though, that earlier in this conversation you stated that you didn't want the meeting to play out this way. I also need to point out that you are the only person talking about you leaving. We've all suggested ways that you could resolve this conversation without leaving; none of those are consequence-free, but roleplaying would be boring if all situations could be solved without repercussions. If you leave, it will be because you chose to, not because you lost anything.
I would rather leave before I do something else I'll regret, than do it and end up hurting more people again.
