Deuce lifted a quizzical eyebrow. The stairs? Stairs? Elevators broken? The massive soldier sighed and pressed he back against the cabinet's sides. Fingers curled around its edges, and then he carefully rocked forward, hefting it onto his back and cringing as he heard a few things slide. It was held there by strength alone, balanced with his own center of gravity, and there was hardly a wobble as he pressed on towards the stairs.

He had almost gained them when a small girl nearly trotted into him. The Astartes came to a halt and bowed his knees to set the cabinet down.

"Hey girly, watch out. Might have been squashed," he wiped his forehead with a wrist. "Anyone else coming up with you? Don't want to squash them, either.""
