MONTH TWO:

REAPERS: Greater Istanistan - 7 - Earth's conquest is going better than expected! The recent transmission by the First had weakened the Human's resolve and morale, and they lost several key positions. The bodies, of course, were immediately used to reinforce your own ground forces (+4 troop credits)

MAJOR FACTIONS
Human Systems Alliance - 3 - The battle on Earth, despite only going on for several days, has resulted in drastic losses. A change in tactics is needed if Earth's ground forces are going to survive this. (-1 Armoured Division, -1 Artillery Batallions, -3 Militia Divisions, -1 Gunship Wing)
Asari Republics - 10 - The news of the Asari Republics focusing on humanitarian aid is received well by the galaxy, as donations and promises of donations sound in from across the galaxy (+500 mCr, +10% income this month)
Turian Hierarchy - 2 - The recent outreach for the war summit was looked down upon by several Turian generals and officials, as it may be seen as a sign of weakness by other races. The condemnation has resulted in the rerouting of some trade pathways, for now. (-20% income this month)
Salarian Union - 4 - Mobilizing the Union and all the resources the Salarians can muster has been slow going, as economic bottlenecks in the arms industry have been discovered, slowing ship and unit production. (+1 month to all ongoing production)
Krogan (Urdnot Clan) - 7 - The uniting of the clans behind Urdnot is going well, surprisingly. There have only been 6 assassination attempts this month! (+200 mCr)
Quarian Flotilla - 5 - Despite the arguing between the Civilian, Patrol, and Heavy fleets in recent Conclave meetings, no one has taken it personally, nor interfered with anyone else's current objective. (No effect)
Geth - 7 - A particularly rich vein of several important metals have been discovered on Rannoch, and is quickly being exploited for use by the Consensus. (+200 mCr)
Cerberus - 8 - Operations planned in advance have taken place, resulting in additional resources for Cerberus (+400 mCr)
Omega - 9 - Leasing out the lab provided an excellent opportunity for a minor criminal syndicate on Omega to expand their influence.. Well, at least they thought that's what would happen. In reality, Aria's forces fought off the attackers, chased them back to their hideout, and killed them all. All of their resources have been re-purposed to support Aria. That'll teach them to go after Omega itself. (+450 mCr)

MINOR FACTIONS
Batarian Hegemony - X*
Volus Protectorate - 4 - The recent militarization efforts by the Volus have been met with resistance by both conservative Volus officials, and members of the Turian Hierarchy, slowing production (+1 month to all ongoing ship and unit production)
Hanar Primacy - X*
Elcor Courts - X*
Illium - X*
Vorcha - 7 - Some traders apparently had an old map, as they thought the planet they landed on was an old trading colony. Well, turns out it was a Vorcha colony world, and some of your forces got a little overzealous, and there may have been a *slight* bit of rending, tearing, salvaging, and other things that tend to make your day worse. But hey, free money! (+200 mCr)

INDEPENDENTS
Society of the Falling Wind - 10 - (no post from you guys, I'll hold off on assigning this until I hear something)
The Laternfolk - 9 - Breakthrough! Recovered documents and theses from an Elcor smuggler's hideout on Omega advance Project Ariel by quite a bit (Project Ariel: +30% completion)
Attican Empire - 10 - (no post from you guys, I'll hold off on assigning this until I hear something)

*- The X denotes that the faction is not filled, and their corresponding number on the roll has been skipped
Image
Here is the screenshot I'd said I'd add as a form of accountability between you guys and I for the monthly rolls. I'll get the rolls done shortly, may just be a bit while I get the idea for each faction sorted out.

The Volus Protectorate
Image
"Credits and Biotic Gods!!!"

Volus Protectorate||Irune,Lenos||Prim-minister Bofnan Can

"Short sighted bastards is what they are!"Prime-minister Bofnan Can said rather angerly as he read the slowing down of militarization of Volus assest in preparation for the impending Reapers. He sighed deeply and raised himself back up to get back to his job as leader of the Volus Race. With the insufficient supply of war ships and troops,a huge chunk of this months income has gone to installing 7 level 3 Planetary defense guns on all important Volus worlds. This huge amount of money will certainly be able to at least deter or otherwise cause other reneges and reapers to look away from Volus worlds.

Next on his agenda was his meeting with the Elkros Combine Board of directors for the Volus's special project plans for Project Paladin. The future of how the Voluse conduct wars and create a bigger effect on the battle field. As preparations for the upcoming advancements into the Volus Military get under way Din Korlack had made it to the summit meeting place. Waiting for the others to appear.[/code]

Primarch Fedorian, Palaven
"I... Have no idea." Garrus admitted, holding his hands up. He watched the Primarch stare intently at the image they had captured. The new Reaper... thing had instilled fear in many of Ferdorian's generals. They were dismissed, the Primarch allowed only his generals and officials with the stomach to fight to be in his presence. The Primarch did not fear this creature, on the contrary, he seemed fascinated.
"It's proof, that's what this is. Of the Reaper's existence, of what they can do. We do not allow this to strike fear into weak hearts. Do they think this will increase the call for surrender? There is no surrender with these Reapers, only death and destruction." He threw the image aside, rubbing his eyes.
"Messages, from Urdnot Wreav, the Dalatrass, the Admiralty Board, the Protectorate, Shepard."
"Read them, if all they speak of is the transmission then we all saw the same thing. No point further discussing such rubbish. What we need is the Summit, and as soon as possible. Victus! Do you think me weak like the rest? For choosing to cooperate against the Reapers as opposed to taking on this threat alone?"
"No, Primarch." He responded, Fedorian could see he meant it.
"Good, you are my heir, my future successor, I do not want to fight knowing my death could ruin our chance at victory. This is a war, with only two sides. Those on the side of life, and those who duel for death. There. Are. No. Neutrals. Those who refuse to fight are indoctrinated, or worse, cravens themselves. The enemy sent that transmission to show us what they can do. Well they have not seen what Palaven and her children are capable of. We can unite the whole galaxy against this threat. War is here, and remember that if I fall you must take my place. No longer do you fight for only the Turians, you fight for all existence, from the Asari to the Quarians, to the Krogan to the Vorcha, from the Hanar to Humanity. Consider every second spent holding this enemy off a life saved, and every life saved a victory. Victus, I must go to the summit, Palaven is yours."

Shepard,

Glad to see you're on board. The Primarch is rallying the troops, so I'm in the glorious position of responding to his messages. He requests that the War Summit be held at the Pranas System in the Annos Basin. Be there as soon as possible. I'll be joining him as some sort of 'Reaper expert', look forward to seeing you.

Oh, and make sure the Krogan and Salarians don't end up killing one another.

Garrus

Urdnot Wreav,

I wish to discuss this issue face to face at the warm summit, but let it be known it is a suggestion I am most open to. In return for your support the Krogan may have a thousand statues if they so wish, their support will be invaluable. The War Summit will be held on the Normandy, which will be at the Pranas System. All leaders are urged to attend as soon as possible.

Primarch Fedorian

Dalatrass Relbana,

Commander Shepard can be relied to welcome High Commander Gubame with open arms. You can be assured Shepard will take the necessary precautions to make sure no harm comes to your commander, not that he shouldn't be able to take care of himself if the two were to come to blows. The War Summit will held nearby, the Normandy basing itself in the Pranas System. Be there as soon as possible.

Primarch Fedorian

To the Admiralty Board,

The attendance is of Admirals Daro'Xen and Tali'Zorah is most appreciated. The location of the Summit, the Normandy, will be in the Pranas system. In the meantime you are offered the rights to base the Migrant Fleet at Palaven or one of her colonies. The Quarians are in an extremely precarious position and a Reaper attack could mean the end of your race. A safe haven is there if you require it.

Primarch Fedorian

Din will be welcomed at the War Summit, which will be on the Normandy in the Pranas System, he must be there as soon as possible. All matters involving distribution of armies will be discussed at the War Summit.

Primarch Fedorian

Commander Shepard
Prothean Archives,
Mars

The Normandy dropped out of FTL in low Mars orbit, where it launched one of its shuttles, with Shepard, Ashley, and Vega aboard. They shuttle landed, and the crew made their way to one of the facility's airlocks. They found several dead Alliance marines before making it to the airlock and cycling the system. Free from being stuck inside a full environmental suit, they detached and removed their helmets, and looked around. Cases and crates where everywhere. Some were set up as cover positions, others tried to blockade doors.. The end result, however, was the same, judging by the amount of corpses behind each gathering of crates.

"Hell." said Ash, as she checked a few of the bodies, to see if there was any hope of them being alive. "They're all gone. No signs of life."
"Alright, let's move on." ordered Shepard
This was another blow Shepard didn't need today. Seeing Earth burn was enough to stop any man, but seeing room after room of dead researchers, support staff, and marines just added to the mess.
After examining a few more rooms, with too many of the same sights, Shepard heard a crash come from the vents above him. He threw the signals to tell his team to take cover, and aimed their rifles high, waiting for the possible hostile to reveal themselves. A figure dropped from the vents, and let loose a biotic wave, throwing Shepard and his team to the ground as the figure turned around and drew a pistol, pointing it at Shepard.

"Shepard? Shepard! It's good to see you! I'm particularly glad it's you, and not Cerberus" said Dr. Liara T'soni, an old crewmember of Shepard's, who had been helping out at the facility since the crew had gone their separate ways after the suicide mission to the Collector base. "Oh, I'm so sorry about the biotics, I had heard you searching, but didn't know if it was you or Cerberus, and couldn't take the risk." she said as she helped Shepard to his feet.

"Not a problem, Liara. No harm done. You mentioned Cerberus? Are they the ones responsible?" asked Shepard.
"Yes. They attacked quickly, right before the Reapers hit Earth, so the Alliance couldn't spare any reinforcements.. And, well.. You've seen the results."

"Liara, Hackett mentioned that something could be found here to help against the Reapers. Do you know where it is, and how we can get there?" asked Shepard.
"There was.. But I had to hide in the vents to avoid Cerberus, and have been for quite some time. We could check the main Prothean archive, but I honestly don't know the plans are still there. The archive had some blueprints for a device called the Crucible. I had no time to actually retrieve or study the blueprints after being made aware of their existence. You can thank Cerberus for that one."

"Alright Liara, lead the way. Vega, head back to the shuttle, make sure it's ready to get us in a moment's notice."
"But I want to-- fine. It'll get done, Shepard." replied Vega, before turning around and heading back out.

After going through the facility for some time, there were no signs of Cerberus, except for a few Trooper bodies here and there. The team reached a tram that led to the Archives, and crossed, but still no major signs of Cerberus besides those few Troopers corpses they had initially come across. The team came to the final door before the Archives, stacked up, rifles at the ready, and breached. The room seemed as dead as the Protheans themselves, with stale air, and the Prothean Archive inactive.

"The.. the Archive isn't supposed to look like that." says Liara, rushing forward to a console in front of the device. "The data.. it's all gone! The Archive is emptied, there's nothing left! Cerberus has everything!" shouted Liara.
"Alright, if that's the case, then we need to get back, now. There's no use staying here, and we need to get to the War Summit. James, this is Shepard. The Archives are empty, there's nothing here. We know Cerberus was behind the attack. Come pick us up, now." ordered Shepard.
"Sir, yes sir, Commander." replied Vega.

Back on the Normandy, Shepard fires up the message console, and reads the message from the Primarch.
"Joker, get us to Pranas, the Salarian home system. There's nothing left for us here in Sol right now, there's nothing else we can do, except help this war summit. And have our security personnel in full armour with rifles. We'll be having both Salarians and Krogan aboard, and being in Pranas, I'm sure the Salarians would appreciate a little show of force."
With that, the Normandy was off, towards Pranas, just a few relays away.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dalatrass Relbana,
STGHQ,
Sur'Kesh

"Dalatrass! Message received from the Hierarchy. Putting it on the main sceen!"

"Interesting. Alright. Send a communique to Gubame, recall him and his fleet. Our Dreadnoughts from both the Pranas Defence Fleet and Gubame's fleet guard the Relay, and have Gubame switch to a Light Cruiser. He'll take that Cruiser, along with 15 Destroyers Destroyers, 20 Frigates, and half a dozen Carriers to the rendezvous site, everything else will go guard the Relay with the Dreadnoughts. If the Krogan are coming here, we need to show force and absolute control over the events in Pranas. Send the message, and all the details." ordered the Dalatrass.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Commander Shepard,
Normandy,
Pranas

The Normandy dropped out of FTL in deep space, away from Sur'Kesh, and every other planet or space asset in Pranas, and sent messages on secure channels to every faction that had said they'd come to the War Summit with the coordinates of the Normandy. The guards to the war room and conference room on the Normandy had been equipped for full combat gear, and stood ready for the diplomatic delegations from each faction to arrive.
--------
High Commander Gubame
U.S.V Arillion
Pranas

Gubame had received the message from the Dalatrass, and come back to Pranas with all due haste. He had split his fleet according to the Dalatrass' instructions, and moved on towards the Normandy's location. A few minutes later, his fleet dropped out of FTL, requested permission to board the Normandy, and the Cruiser he was aboard extended the docking tube towards the ship.

"You, you, you, you, you, and you, with me." Ordered Gubame to a half-dozen STG operatives he had taken aboard the Arillion with him, and made his way down the tube towards the Normandy. The external airlock on the Normandy opened, and Shepard stood before him with two Alliance marines at his side. "High Commander Gubame, I'm Commander Shepard. Welcome aboard the S.S.V. Normandy. If you'll follow me, I'll show you your quarters, and where the main talks will be happening."
"Very well, Shepard, lead on." Gubame then motioned towards his operatives to follow him, as they went deeper into the bowels of the Normandy.

The Meeting Point

Wreav looked out on the magnitude of star systems, softly growling as he did so. Ahulking statue in the middle of an observation deck, the ruler of Tuchanka had been lowered to the rank of "paying passenger". With no suitable warship to name as their own, the "Battlemasters of War", Wreav's adopted name for his government over the Krogan of Tuchanka, had been forced to lower themselves to buying off one of the shady traders who often landed on Tuchanka to trade for interesting items. It was a fine ship, a cargo vessel capable of holding the fifty or so delegates Wreav had assembled. They were no big players, but they were players Wreav did not want running around. And if he were to die, then the ruler of Tuchanka did not want any of them to long survive him.

You think they will turn up? One of Wreav's humiliated foes questioned from the doorframe. These are Turians we are speaking about

They will turn up. They have to. Do you think a Turian would even consider getting on their knees to speak to us if it did not mean the Hierarchy had found an enemy they could not beat down with their sticks.

The other delegates nodded slowly, still very unsure as to the reason so many of them had been selected to join him. Coupled with the guards, there was scarce any room to stand them all, let alone give them all a room.

But the Salarians could be there, one of the more quick members of his party conjured up. They are always plotting against us. This could be a trap, getting us away from Tuchanka so that they could eliminate us

That stirred up the old krogan, Wreav's own growling drowned in the wave of snarls emitted at mention of Salarians and their machinations. If one of those frogs had entered the room at that moment, they would have been ripped to shreds. Binding together a hundred warring clans had not been easy, a thousand presented a myriad of challenges that had no answer. On his rise, the foes banded together, forming alliances and coalitions that Wreav incorporated in to his new order, creating the first nations from the ashes of a dozen fallen unions. The comraderie between the krogan factions had allowed Wreav, by being their united enemy, to join them together closer than any alliance thus far. Yet, to keep them off of plotting his own demise, he had been forced to turn the hatred outwards. Salarians, off-world Krogan, Turians. These had been presented as the enemies of all Krogan, Wreav offering himself up to his new-found legions as the one to take them out in to the stars to vanquish each and every one.

If they turn up then it will be to beg for our help as they did against the Rachni. Yet they have already played the Genophage: what more can they take from us? We will rebuild upon the husks of Sur'Kesh's cities a vast empire for all Krogan. But first, we need to show this galaxy why we should be feared.

And at that moment, the unarmed trading vessel dropped out in to the Pranas system to the presence of a large formation of Salarian warships. Alarm klakons, installed by one of Wreav's more paranoid of bodyguards, sounded throughout the vessel. Pre-coded orders activated at the presence of such a force, swinging the vessel back around

Damn Salarian dogs think they can ambush us, eh? Delegate Feoc roared, a grin not far from his face.

Treacherous dogs, Wreav spat. Get us back to Tuchanka! We will settle this grudge the Krogan way.
