Or just really traumatized, in which it would only be momentary. Though...I am oddly wishing you had tried to strike Charlotte. Especially after the whole "girl I thought I loved" thing that would certainly mess with her head. To her knowledge, you were just teasing her this whole time.

Yeah, but he was raised to not harm a girl. Which explains his romantic past one could suppose *shrug* either way, he was pissed, but not enough to break his morals.

Good luck, but I doubt that'll fix the "girl I thought I loved" thing, as you just don't drop that on a girl, regardless if species, especially before even a first date.

She is the spirit of a tree though, (think Holo, Holo is tied to the wheat she inhabits, when the what is gone she returns to the Earth; difference being Holo made an oath where as Holly was born like this) so she is going to live like a tree. Her lineage is this tree mating with this tree, making saplings, and so on. Nymphs just being a natural occurrence every so once in awhile, one could presume the Great Spirit creates them to protect the forest in times of need.

Well, charlotte is a straight up phoenix, as both her paremts were phoenixes, though I guess she would also be technically a descendant as well?
