I read the end of the post and it still talked about her being a bright ball of heat and so forth at the end. It never actually specified her landing or even turning human again.

I am going to bring Rob back (he lives about fifteen minutes, when you drive the actual speed limit and obey the road laws, from the school) to apologize

or I could edit my post to have him and Charlie go somewhere in the woods to talk.

Option two does sound appealing for character development... plus that would give the club time to wrap up... think i might edit to for option two unless you feel option one would allow for better development.

I do not think Ryn has approved Witches yet- we are still working out the restrictions- I myself am still not big on Charlie being a witch- but I'm getting use to the idea. Enough comment that after this- after seeing and hearing Robert- perhaps now is not the time she'd reveal such to him- perhaps after he's come to terms with the supernatural.

What would you do if a girl turned into a large flaming bird in front of you? Honestly, man, I doubt you would have stayed. I am not going to break character just because either, else the whole story is not what it could and should have been. You all wanted a story about the supernatural in a high school, the supernatural is not normal; so what is bound to happen when a normal student sees all this going down? The Fight, Flight, or Freeze response kicks in, and Rob was not about to hit a girl/flaming chicken thing, but freezing near said flaming bird would also be dangerous, so it was flight.

And the credit of those involved, apparently someone liked the story enough to stop in and say so, so I count that as a win.

Actually, in case you did not read my last post, Robert decided to not be what the other Hellsing's were and has instead devoted himself to protecting everyone from the supernatural, including those affected themselves. He has taken a stand against darkness, but refuses to kill the innocent, and would gladly go fisticuffs for the "monsters", as I still have no group name for them at this time, as they too are like him, just trying to live their lives.

So see, all that emotional turmoil was funneled into a good purpose, Rob has come back calm and collected and is good to go.

This does not change the fact that if the girl I have a crush on somehow explodes into a big flaming bird I am going to get the Hell out of there or else run for the fire extinguisher; which I suppose would have been funny, but that is more sitcom humor than the kind of humor I wanted. I like situational humor and irony, plus this Rob is not one that rolls with everything, he is not some supersoldier who goes toe to toe with demons for fun - he's just a kid. Ya got to realize that. He is not the boy who tries to woo a werewolf by accident, he's not the guy who adopted a robot daughter, he is a kid with kid problems.

Personality: Protective over her friends, shy at most times but not afraid to get violent when needed, enjoys household chores despite being horrible at them, also favors exploring the outdoors when possible, and will at times be seen flying over the town on her broom during moonlit nights
Short Biography: Charlie always wanted to be a normal girl, but when she accidentally set fire to a barbie doll in kindergarten she became an outcast mainly as others were fearful of her. She too became afraid of these powers and swore to never use them. She instead grew a garden at her own home and began searching the forest for herbs after reading one of the books her mother kept hidden away. She sought to make a potion that would repress her powers, instead this draught gave her a horrible illness. The illness began to kick in on the way to school one day, passing out in the woods just in town she was discovered by a boy who began quickly using local plants and even a small medical kit from her car to help her. Once awoken Charlotte tried to run away, but collapsed again, waking up with a bandage over her forehead she learned that this guy had just moved into town a few days ago and was going to her school. They exchanged names, he was Robert Hellsing. Giving her a ride to the school the two talked, it was obvious he knew nothing about the supernatural stuff going on in this town, so Charlotte neglected to tell him. The two became good friends over the course of the day as Charlotte got permission to show him around. More often than not one will find Charlotte eating at the Hellsing residence as she has no cooking skills at all, she will also be found picking through Robert's library of "strange spell tome things", coupled with aiding him in his search for mystical artifacts.

Hmmmmm...... You see I have huge problems with Alchemy, Transmogifying, and most of all elemental manipulation as abilities..... I don't know why, but it just does.... So allow me to get back to you on that...... For elemental manipulation, I would prefer if you only had control over one.....

And the last bit of biography, they kind of imply that Robert will be finding mystical artifacts...... Other than that, I would be okay of this..... And I can't really do anything, since a good portion seems to want to be able play as witches.

She is not skilled with any of it particularly though, it is not like she is going to be fighting either, the only thing stuff like that is going to help with is gardening. In truth I do not actually even understand why we have to have a powers and abilities list provided the lineage is one we can type into Wikipedia and find an article on that details it.
